A taste with Pippi - (Near Abbeville, LA)

Tammy Porte I called in an order, the grilled pork steamed buns and grilled pork banh mi, to go. The order was ready quickly. The steamed buns blew me away! It was my first time having steamed buns. I will be getting them regularly. The banh mi was great also. Both of them the pickled vegetables were so fresh. The grilled pork had that perfect grilled flavor you want. The flavors of each ingredient just explodes in your mouth, you taste each one individually at first then when they all combine, wow. The bread was so soft with a nice light slight crisp crust. The buns were so light, soft and fluffy. I had their beef broth a few weeks back when on a liquid diet for a day and it too has amazing in flavor. The service was great. The employees were so nice. Im definitely ordering some pho this coming week.

Jonathan Sanchez We went to La Espuela first, and it really looks run down since the last time we went. There was portable AC’s, because I assume their AC was out. Waited a few minutes, and no one came with chips and salsa or to take our drink order. So, we left and drove up the road to El Corazón. We are so glad we did. It’s a clean and bright place with great food, service and great environment with live music on Friday night. Definitely our go to Mexican restaurant in St. Martinville now.

Cody Good, ole fashioned, and delicious burger! I just ate the Bailey Deluxe double meat burger that has mushrooms and jalapeños on it.. So good. You and your stomach better be "bout it" if you order a double meat. Theyre massive. Fries are plain ole crinkle cuts which complement, in my opinion, the almost forgotten local cruise in style burger joint combo of years past. Hope this joint stays in business many more decades, as I hear its been around a long time. Its in a new location in the end of the building next to Silver Dollar liquid store. Go get ya belly full.
