Deiondra Lyn Don’t know why it was empty ! Good food !!! Horchata was great. Serving portion was huge and we needed boxes . I had chorizo tacos 9/10 and you can put whatever toppings and sauce on top at the bar(which I loved) & my husband got something I forgot —- just know it was 9/10 he said . COME HERE !! You won’t regret it . We got warm chips and salsa . All for $32 = 2 entrees , horchata , 1 Jarritos & chips and salsa.

Victor Womack Couple friends and I decided to try Salt Pepper Oak BBQ. The staff a super friendly, and want to make sure you have a great experience. The brisket had a good smoker to it. The ribs are falling off the bone. Cornbread was good and had a little bit of a spicy kick to it. I really enjoyed a street corn and the cheesy grits were really good. Also found out they make all the desserts fresh every day. The chocolate chip cookie was really good and really rich. If you like barbecue and in the area? Definitely give a try.

Joe Picked up a rib dinner and quarter chicken to go, along with a sweet potato pie. Whew it was delicious!! Great prices, great food and great service. If I pass through the area I’ll be sure to stop again. The ribs were tender, full of flavor and the rice dressing was delicious! Highly recommend.

Michael Merculieff was just passing by and decided to stop at Tacos La Kanita—so glad I did. The chicken tacos were juicy and perfectly seasoned, while the steak tacos had that smoky, tender flavor that makes you want more. Fresh tortillas and balanced toppings tied it all together. An authentic spot worth pulling over for!

Alexis Been a huge fan of everything Elizabeth and Erik have created since Caribbean Ice, so I had no doubts this place would be incredible! For our appetizer, we got the Arancini based off of a recommendation from our waiter. Omg. I had no idea cheese and rice could be so freaking good. I had the seared salmon for my entree and it was PHENOMENAL. Thinking about it daily. Drinks were also lovely. We had a slice of lemon cheesecake and espresso cheesecake and those were both amazing. Also, you cannot go wrong with a single pastry Elizabeth makes. The cinnamon roll is to die for. Almond croissant? 10/10 Do yourself a favor and just go. This place is exactly what New Iberia needed.

S R We had such a great dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious — you can tell it’s made with real, authentic flavors. Every dish hit the spot. Our server, Keeley, was amazing. She was friendly, on top of everything, and made great suggestions. She really helped make the whole night enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!
