Champs Chicken - (Near Bastrop, LA)

Sarah W Excellent restaurant! I go here all the time and Im never disappointed. The food is always hot and fresh. They do steady business at peak hours, which is what you want for good turnover at a buffet and regular replenishment at the hot bar. Theres an excellent variety of different meats and seafood, as well as different preparations (velveted vs. batter fried.) Sauce your own sweet and sour chicken ensures its never soggy. I highly recommend this place, and the owners are super nice!

Jackie Adams Thank you from the bottom of my stomach, Franks on Airline! My breakfast was absolutely amazing. My waitress, Erica, was so sweet and kind, and my order came out perfect. I’m usually a chicken fried steak girl, but thanks to Destiny’s suggestion, I switched it up today and tried the hamburger steak with grilled onions and brown gravy—delicious! I had my eggs slightly scrambled with a side of grits and buttered toast. Talk about lick-your-chops good! I appreciate those cooks as well! Franks on Airline Baton Rouge never disappoints, and I’ll definitely be back.

Jacob Broadway The McDonald’s was very large. It was clean. Lots of room to sit inside and outside. It did take a little longer to get our food than I was expecting being there was no one in there, but we did get our order and it was exactly what we ordered. We were happy.

Me Me Hamburgers and anything BBQish isnt my type of food. Lol! With thay being said. I absolutely LOVE their Ragin burger and their seasong fries is also good. Just the right amount of seasoning without it being to salty or strong (if you know what I mean). I usually dont like most fountain drinks but their Diet Dr Pepper is sooo good. :)

Liana Smith This is just not your regular gas station/convenience store but has the best BBQ in the area!! Try the Mr. Nasty sandwich on Hawaiian bread. It is a mix of chopped chicken, sausage & brisket!! The price point us very reasonable for BBQ. You can dine in, take out & drive thru! Also enjoy the covered patio with ample seating!!!
