Drusilla Seafood Restaurant - (Near Baton Rouge, LA)

5 /5 Bonnie B.: We decided to go to Drusilla for our Christmas Eve dinner this year and had a wonderful experience. The service exceeded our expectations and the food was just incredible. Highly recommend the fried shrimp, au gratin, and the chicken piccata. Everything was done to perfection. Even the kids chicken fingers were homemade. Thank you for making our evening so special! We will be back soon!

5 /5 Louis and Elaine: Since moving to New Orleans we had not eaten at Drusilla Seafood Restaurant in several years. This is unfortunately as we had forgotten how good it was. We really like the atmosphere and the decor is nice with lots of seating and several private dining rooms. The food is local specialties and is very good. We love the complementary hush puppies and the fish dishes are great. The service is also excellent, our server was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return soon.

5 /5 Mooney Brian (mrmelooney): Honestly there are plenty reviews of this place who has been around here in Baton Rouge for decades, in 2025, I can vouch that it is still a great place to get grilled fish and endless hush puppies. I also recommend Bobby the waiter. Stephanie is great as well.

5 /5 Anon Imus: I quit going to Drusilla Seafood Restaurant about twenty years ago because I thought the quality of their dinners had gone down in quality. Well, they are back to serving GREAT FOOD!!! From the salad to the hush puppies to the entrees to the desserts, everything that both my wife and I had were over the top delicious!!! If you have not been there recently, you may want to go back and give them a try now.

1 /5 Bee Wil: I can completely understand having a busy location but to have a private area and waiter still not be able to check on the customer more frequently than what we got is absurd. Training needs to be spread around the board because the hostess(over the phone info) and waiters seem not to know certain rules. We had 2 kids and nowhere on this menu is it stated "kids meals are not free due to being in a private room", nor does it list "deposit required for private room". We intended to pay for the meals but it is advertised on the menu for the kids on Sunday which is the day we chose to eat. Got our bill and then they come tell us, kids cant eat free on Sunday because we were in the private room and not in dining area. the manager then goes to say "we also got the room without a deposit which the hostess shouldnt have done". So with all that being said the 4 people who was with us came to the decision to not want to return anytime soon and wont be recommending anyone to go either on no day.
