Martinez Diamond (Mrs. Martinez) My husband and I had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant. I made dinner reservations here for his birthday while visiting the area. Everything was superb. The chargrilled oysters were phenomenal!

Randall White One of the classic lunch spots in Shreveport to get Louisiana cuisine. Many local professionals frequent Jacquelyn’s; definitely a place to see and be seen for lunch. Pictured is the combo platter with jambalaya, red beans and rice, and shrimp étouffée, (served with warm buttered bread). Shrimp salad and chicken salad are simple but delicious and are also local favorites. (PS: Iced tea is the best in town!)

VanCampinWoody OMG. Friends brought me here and what an amazing little place. Friendly Staff, Fast Service and Value for Your Money. I had the Large Seafood Plate. It was loaded with all my favorite fried seafood, lots of crawfish, large jumbo shrimp, oysters, stuffed crab, stuffed shrimp and the biggest set of Frog Legs Ive ever had along with crawfish estufea, cold slaw and crawfish soup. So much I had couldnt eat it all. Like I said before value for the money with Large portions. Look forward to retuning.

American And Proud Of It Food is great... tastes like home. Staff are nice and friendly. My beautiful bride of 49 years and I drove an hour out of way just for lunch on the way to our daughters home...it is that good. We highly recommend!!!

Ive B The Chimes is hands down one of the best spots in Louisiana for good food and good vibes. The place has that rustic, laid-back feel that makes you instantly comfortable, and it’s super family-friendly, which I love. The food is amazing. The charbroiled oysters are a must have every time I visit. The gator is tender and so tasty. The catfish is always fresh and perfectly cooked, and the gumbo is rich and comforting, just like it should be. Don’t skip the boudin balls, and if crab fingers are in season, get them — you won’t regret it. What makes The Chimes really special is the atmosphere. It’s the kind of place you can bring your kids, meet up with friends, or just relax and enjoy a meal that feels like home. Big portions, friendly staff, and food that keeps you coming back — it’s a true gem in the South.
