Durand’s Cafe - (Near St Martinville, LA)

Christopher Collins Went for lunch with a colleague. It was my first time and I can honestly say, I was very pleased! The restaurant was very clean and has a pleasing atmosphere. The hostess was friendly and offered good suggestions from the menu. We never felt rushed or bothered. The food was fresh, well prepared, and very tasty! Overall I am impressed and will be going back often.

Nicky Guidry Went in via the water for lunch. You MUST get the onion rings! Simply the best we’ve ever had! A great crispy crunch on the sweetest onions! We got the lunch special which was a cup of crawfish pepper corn soup (Ah-mazing!), coleslaw, fried catfish (so crispy and tasty), fries and hush puppies. A truly delish lunch!

Christina Dunn First and foremost. HELEN, our waitress was amazing! Personable and outgoing. Found this place on our way from FL to Reno, blew a tire, and needed to get a new one, so during the wait, we filled our guts. Ordered food and mixed drinks. I thought my margarita was a little on the light side, I will say the house tequila is on point, lol. Food was great, and something about the apple cut fries. .

Tim Joseph This is one of the best restaurants that I have ever been to! And I have travelled around the world. It exceeded expectations. Its gumbo, seafood, peach cobbler, and even its lemonade stand stand above the rest. The decorum and portraits have the allure of a museum.
