El Mexicano Mexican Restaurant -Food CA (Near New Iberia)

5 /5 Douglas Barbin: Very good! I didnt expect a whole lot from a Mexican restaurant in New Iberia, but El Mexicano was delicious. The atmosphere could be better, but the food and service more than make up for it. I recommend this place if you are in the area.

1 /5 Sharell Beasley: Every time Ive come, Ive been mostly pleased with my food. Today was vastly different. I ordered take out for lunch. Birria tacos. They were horrible. Soggy and the consume looked like grease. Definitely disappointed.

5 /5 bry bry: Great service, very good Mexican food. Can’t go wrong here! 02/07/22 I finally had time to return here. I had the Birria Tacos, I’m so glad to finally find these locally and they didn’t disappoint. Very flavorful, and juicy! One of my new Mexican favorites for sure. I have to try them every time I see them. I changed them to flour tortillas and were amazing. Give them a try! I also had a frozen house margarita. They are more limey than I prefer but not bad and pack a little punch. Must come back for more tacos! Enjoy!
