Lehua Okalani SW LAs own Villa Harlequin is doing it right. All of it. And they’ve got awards to prove it. Everything is delicious and with a huge menu there’s something for everyone … steak, fish, chicken, burgers, po’ boys. But antipasto, pasta, salads, drinks and dessert are where they shine. The pasta Alfredo is on the lunch menu, but if you ask you can get it at night. It’s mind blowing, simply the best I’ve ever had. I don’t what they do to it, but I’m glad they do it. Im addicted to the steakhouse classic wedge salad. Their own dressing, so delicious I could eat it with a spoon. They started out as a steak house, so they know how to do it right. The drinks and wine lists are long and inventive, the bar is packed on weekends. For good reason. Service is stellar, with a very knowledgeable and attentive owner and staff. The atmosphere is what you make of it. Cozy candlelight corners perfect for date night or in the middle of all the action. There’s even a space for groups. Dessert is a treat. Save room. All made in house. Their star attraction is bread pudding, which I generally don’t like. This, I love its a mix of bananas foster & bread pudding. And its a marriage made in heaven. Last night I had brown sugar cheesecake with pecan pie sauce. Amazing. Check it out y’all, you’ll see what I mean. Tucked away in downtown Lake Charles. It’s a sweet surprise, very worth finding. I promise.
