General Wok - (Near Jennings, LA)

5 /5 Johnson Dru (Madam D.A. Johnson): Passing through headed to NOLA saw it on maps decided to stop by. Now if I was judging from the outside of the building, we may not have patronized but we got passed the outter appearance and gave them a try. Our food was fresh and the portions were plentiful. I ordered the crawfish fried rice, it wasnt quite what I was expecting thinking of a fried rice but it was delicious! Love the spice. Hubby ordered chicken fried rice he enjoyed it, said it was " pretty good, and I can tell it was cooked to order" I also tried the crab cheese rangoons... I would have liked a little more filling to pastry ratio but they were fresh,crispy and flavorful. Overall, was it thee best Ive had? No. Do I have to have them again the next time were passing through? No. But for what we were looking for today this hit the spot.

1 /5 Walter Adams: 45 years of my service in food industry very disappointed we ordered our food the waitress came in the door after the cook took our order no communication from the cook our order given to the wrong person so we now have to wait additional 15 minutes now they were given our plus theres on the house we got late food and we are sorry PS. We are African-American others were Caucasian coincidence.

5 /5 Connie Howard: The building is not to look at, but the food ....OMG. Excellent and very large portions. We travel back and forth between TX and FL...this will be a regular stop for us.
