Golden Corral Buffet & Grill - (Near West Monroe, LA)

1 /5 Amanda Poole: Walked in a few minutes after 7 to have dinner with our mother, ( we are from Chicago, she is 75 and lives here) the gentleman at the register only asked if there were any seniors, he said nothing else. The manager was standing at the other register talking on a cell phone. Went to a table, sat our recipe and phones on it (that was 7:11pm) went to get food, there was hardly any food out. Had to wait for food. They were breaking down the kitchen area. Got what we could to eat. Went back to table and I still had no drink. Keep in mind that almost 15 minutes has lapsed since placing my ticket on table. I had to flag down a server and ask for my drink. She said it would be a few minutes, I told her it had already been 15 minutes, for her to reply no it hasn’t. According to my receipt I sat at 7:11pm and it is not 7:25pm… Went to speak to manager and she was still on her phone. Are one plate of food because the only thing up on bar was fish and shrimp left. I am allergic to that stuff and can’t eat it. Was a waste of almost $70.00 if the manager wasn’t busy on her phone, I would have asked for a refund. Oh and the bathroom was HORRIBLE! Please do better!!! I didn’t show face of server.. As a first time out of town visit, I do not recommend this place. Unfortunately.

1 /5 Lynn: The fried chicken was very greasy and had almost no flavor. The vegatables tasted like they were canned and the zucchini was so salty u couldnt hardly eat it. And the mens bathroom was nasty. They need to improve big time. We wont be back.

4 /5 Mark Chavez: Its a good place to go when you or the wife doesnt know what they want to eat. Or are with your elders. Food is hot. Salad bar has a great selection. If you have young kids they will love the variety of foods from pizza to spaghetti to chicken tenders and fries. Not to mention all the deserts and ice creams. If you are trying to eat healthy, there is always baked fish, baked chicken, steaks, steamed fresh vegetables and a whole lot more.

5 /5 no name: Been a minute since Ive been in here, Golden Corral is definitely one of my favorite buffets. I think I could eat off the salad bar alone and be happy. They have any and everything you could add on or in a salad. We enjoyed all the dishes we tried this trip through and then attacked the dessert bar. I thought grans was gonna have to roll me out in a wheel barrow. Needless to say this meal was thoroughly enjoyed.
