What Clients Are Saying Grand Isle Restaurant (GG)
5 /5 Kevin Williamson: We had reservations for 7:00. Called at 6:00 to inquire about early seating and they immediately accommodated us. The food was excellent. The chargrilled oysters were some of the best I’ve had. My wife had the blackened gulf fish with crawfish tails and raved about it. I had the Creole crawfish pasta. Exceptional! Our server, Kevin, was very helpful in helping us choose our items and made sure we were well taken care of. We will definitely be back and share our experience with our customers when we help them book travel to this area.
4 /5 J C Grier: Large group dinner, lots of fun, decent food, service lacking. It is spacious, theres plenty of seating without being on top of one another, yet, all servers arent able to handle large groups. The cornbread and oysters were the best thing smoking!!!
5 /5 Fonda Kornegay: The food was wonderful as was most of the staff, except our Elonda L (our server). She was condescending from the start, sent stuff we didnt order, and didnt send things we did order. I guess because the 20% gratuity is automatic doesnt matter. Everyone else and the food made up for her so I still round up 4.5 to 5. The Grand Isle oyster soup was a delightful spin on oyster stew. I know another establishmemt is known for their charbroiled oysters but G.I. surpasses them in flavor and preparation (imo). The grilled ceasar salad was perfect, good smoky grilled taste, slightly charred.
5 /5 Nosa Lloyd: This place was spectacular! The food was amazing. The charbroiled oyster was to die for OMG. Also the shrimp and grits…like…literally no words. You just have to try it. By the way our server, Kevin, went above and beyond for our table. Drinks were brought on time, water refills, our food, all of that. I hope he gets every penny of that 20% mandatory gratitude fee!
Sarah Google suggested the Crawfish House an Grill. She did an excellent job picking great food at a fair price.
My oysters were massive. The house made chips were hot and seasoned well.
Reagan was the kind of waiter that you hope for. She was attentive without being intrusive.
Yes, I will definitely be back.
Cheryl Floyd Oh my! So cute! Glad to see this antique property revitalized. Come by ASAP and support their efforts as well to help a local battling bone cancer! We got the 10 piece Winning Streak Wings with honey bbq sauce. They come with a side of seasoned crinkle fries. The wings had a crispy skin with tender meat. Medium sizes with a generous amount of their sticky, sweet sauce. It is a mild sauce that pairs well with the chicken. Would taste good on a burger too!
Curtis LeBlanc Recently visited Mercy Kitchen for the first time and loved it. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. I ordered The Hangover, which was hearty, flavorful, and surprisingly light — left me full without feeling bloated or sluggish afterward. Highly recommend checking this place out!
Fabian Valladares Food was really good I enjoyed all of it the people are friendly food didnt take long I would definitely go again and again really recommend this place its a must try
Jennifer Cvengros Four of us came for dinner around 6ish and waited about 45 mins on a Friday night for dinner. Had beers on the patio while we waited. If you come hungry you’ve come to the right place. Portions are HUGE! We had a shrimp wrap, boiled shrimp and the boudin balls. All were tasty and filled our tired bellies. Our waitress Amy was so sweet. The fish bites are a MUST!
