Infusion - (Near Opelousas, LA)

2 /5 Dayton Conway: Major disappointment. This is just a snack bar and severely overpriced. The food was marginal at best. My wife had a shrimp basket. I had a shrimp poor boy. Food was served in a cardboard tray. No utensils were provided. They charged us $50 for the two items, plus a bottle of water and a soda. Plus we had to smell the cigarette smoke from the casino! Eat somewhere else!

2 /5 H H: First of all the food is amazing! The Voodoo grilled shrimp tacos have me driving 30 mins just to eat there. However on this occasion when i went to eat at infusion the very not wanting to be at work front counter girls that were working check my card for me and said I couldnt eat there and I had to go next door to the restaurant a different restaurant and eat there which I waited the hour and a half for the restaurant to open even though I knew I would barely get to work in time cuz I didnt want to drive here for nothing and when that restaurant opened and they checked my card they said no its get to go back to the first place which is infusion and when I came back to the restaurant and made the girl aware of what had happened she didnt say one word to me and just looked at me like I made some kind of mistake so customer service is a little shaky but once again the food is amazing!

4 /5 Kens Alternate Universe: Friendly staff and very good short order dishes served hot. We were there on a late Thursday afternoon and were the only people dining when we went. The staff was excellent. This is inside of a casino complex, so expect to smell cigarettes at times.

3 /5 C T: The food was surprisingly good. Be prepared..its more cafeteria than restaurant. You walk up, order off menu board, get a number and they bring it to you. Lets get the cons out of the way... The staff at the counter..I get the feeling they hate being there. The young woman that brought our food was attentive. The smoke smell from casino...they seriously need to invest in filters and a better air circulation system. Not bad if you sit near back. But its ridiculous considering how many people commented on it as we were walking in. Price.. seemed more on line with a restaurant that provides service Okay..Pros Flavor...surprisingly good..wasnt holding up too much hope after we ordered. But all the food was good and wait time wasnt bad. Portion size...great. Monte Cristo was huge as was the large onion strings we shared Bottom line...well give it another try at some point to see if thats consistent. But it will not be a regular stop.
