1 /5 Richard Borne: Just ate at the Kitchen Table for the first time under the new ownership. The food and overall service were pretty good. My sole complaint is I ordered the chicken sandwich (which I think was around $15 approximately) to their credit they disclose how much “add ons” are going to cost. Adding Onions was listed on the menu for $2.00 extra. I actually debated if I was going to get them and I finally decided “what the hell” so I ordered the chicken sandwich add onions. When I received the sandwich there were like 3 pieces of onion. I showed the waitress and I asked “Is this amount of onions really going to be $2 extra? Then I asked if she could check with management and see if they would at least give a few more pieces of the onion. I guess the answer was no because I had finished eating the sandwich before we saw the waitress again (we were on the patio) and no onions. I completely understand everything is going up in price but to pay $2 for onions that are less than what they put on a Burger King burger (the small one not the Whopper) is just crazy.
Again the food and service overall were pretty good but this left a bad taste in my mouth. I should have taken a picture of the tiny amount they put on. But I really thought the waitress was going to come out with more.
5 /5 DeuceK: It’s my second time here dining in for breakfast. There’s a variety of options to choose from. I love the food. I ordered a pancake with a side of grits this time. The pancake is huge, fluffy with crispy edges like I like it. It came with a homemade honey butter and I added a side of bourbon caramel sauce.
The atmosphere is great. You can sit at the bar section or table inside and there is an outside patio. I see a stage outside which means live performances must take place occasionally.
5 /5 Mrs. Coleman: The Kitchen Table is a hidden gem in Arabi. They had so many specials and menu options. I had the fried green tomatoes with shrimp remoulade as an appetizer and a shrimp pasta they had on the menu with capers and Kalamata olives and it was delicious! I love this place!
Rebekah Dodd Everything was great. I highly recommend the fra diavolo it is the perfect slight spicy from the red pepper and will 100% get again. We also had the focaccia and I was a bit hesitant with the tomato slices on it but they were soo good light and fluffy and the tomatoes went really well on it
Stephanie White We picked up some spicy tamales, and they were delicious! Was able to talk with the owner, he sure puts in the work for a good product he can be proud of. The kids loved the drinks that his wife made in the coffee shop.
Camryn Jackson So glad to have had Addison as our waitress. The drinks are SUCH AN AESTHETIC. The atmosphere really brings the vibes, love it here. Great food. Great drinks. 10/10
