Kravins Restaurant & Bar - (Near Monroe, LA)

Seth Jones This place blew me away!! I just stopped in on a whim. Amazing salsa, and two or three dozen different sauces to spice things up with. Chimichanga was awesome with the queso it was drowned in. This place is so fantastic. 20 bucks including 5 dollar tip. Hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in Chalmette during the course of my entire life….. that’s not saying a lot though. This place is literally the best place in the area.

andie ingram When I say I eat Mexican food often, I truly do. SO, Ive had a lot to compare this place to! It was hands down the absolute best Mexican food Ive ever had. Cooked to perfection. Huge serving. Great waitress. Highly recommend. Im from Missouri but plan a trip back to the area in February and will definitely stop here again!!!

Norah Webster I chickened out on getting actual crawfish because I dont know how to eat them, but I enjoyed my crawfish poboy. You can tell that it was prime season for crawfish. This place was super busy on a Tuesday night, with folks plowing through giant trays of the stuff. I was definitely jealous that I was here on my own. I came back for a giant pancake for breakfast the next day. Prices for dinner and breakfast seem really reasonable, and food was all fresh. Staff were really busy at dinner, but always friendly.

Scott Keele We were hungry for hamburgers and this place was suggested to us. The staff was super friendly. We let them know that since we had 14 people with us, they didn’t need to pull tables together is that was not available. But they were very accommodating. The burgers were great… but i was especially impressed with the Boudin egg rolls. They were awesome and I would totally suggest you try them, If you haven’t already. The only difficulty we had was that they couldn’t separate the ticket more than twice… which made it tough since nearly all of us were paying on our own. I’m not sure why that was the case… it seems to me that they could have just takes so many people to each order… just as if we were sitting at separate tables. Tough since we had people leaving the restaurant owing each other money since not very many of us had cash. But… the boudin egg rolls made up for any discomfort, for sure.

Crystal Demars I’m not sure how I just found out about this place, but I’m glad I did. The food is excellent quality, not greasy, great service, they’re much cleaner than the other eating places (ahem, G&Js). I highly recommend the grilled buffalo chicken sandwich and my husband claims they make the best cheeseburger he’s ever eaten. Their fries and Mozerella sticks are crispy, never soggy. I’ve been there three times just this week since finding out about them. Highly recommend!!!
