Levee Side Inn & Grill - (Near St Joseph, LA)

S Dined here on a friday night around 6-7pm. There was no wait and we were seated immediately. Our hostess/server was Mary- she couldnt have been nicer. We ordered the lemon berry martini and the spinach alfredo pizza with chicken. The martini tasted very nice and wasnt weak/watered down or too sweet. The spinach alfredo pizza was so delicious. It was creamy, flavorful and freshly made. Even the crust was tasty . 10/10 and Mary was seriously so so nice, professional and accommodating.

Christopher Miller Place is truly a hidden gem. The food is absolutely wonderful.

Sleauxguy This was my first time to drop by The Chop Shop. Any time I go to a specialty meat shop I like to talk to the staff and get suggestions from them on their products. I met and talked to the owner, really nice and extremely helpful guy. I told him what I was looking for and what I would be cooking and he suggested the products he would use in those dishes. He also gave me a few recommendations of some of their other products that sounded too good to pass up. Cant wait to dig into the sausages he recommended. Not to mention the boudin and hogshead cheeses. Ill post the pics of what I ended up getting tonight and Ill add my description and review of each later as I cook each one. I did try some of the prepared foods they have in the hot box and it was all good. I think I need more of the duck and pecan spring rolls, one was not enough.

felicia bryant Food was great. Nice atmosphere and good value. I got the cajun nachos and it was a huge portion. It is definitely worth the trip.

Lauri B 9/10/2025: My friend and I had an early birthday dinner for me at GRS. The service was exquisite from start to finish. We started with the complimentary bread with our wine. The butter they serve with the bread has small pieces of course sea salt in it which was divine! It was the best bread and butter I have ever had hands down. For our meal, we ordered the beef wellington and brussels sprouts. Everything was delicious! The servings are large enough to split, especially after the bread and wine. The restaurant is tucked away in a corner of the casino. You have to pass a shop and then a pizza by the slice place to get there. The restaurant is waterside, so the view is pretty. I recommend this place for special occasions. The atmosphere alone is impressive, but then when you add the service and the food, you will be wowed!
