Jackichan Came in early morning, my washer went out... This place Opens 8am! Thrift & Spin is very very clean. The woman working there, was kind and considerate to me. Helped me find everything I was looking for. I used 2 commercial speed loads to get my clothes done. Started up with absolutely no issues. The commercial speed wash machine is $2, accepts quarters.. There is a machine in the laundromat , that despenses change. Aside from the machines, another cool feature, is that the Thrift & Spin has a sign welcoming service dogs. Id recommend coming here even if its temporary.

Queen Rinda First trip ever to Louisiana and tried this spot for some much needed seafood grub after seeing some amazing photos and great reviews on this place. Maaaan. There was NO disappointment! Great meal to start of a first time experience to the area! Most definitely would recommend to others. Order was a call in pick up and was hot and coming out upon quoted timeframe. Order of salmon pasta, seafood fries, and burger for a kiddo. The pasta was so perfectly seasoned!! I couldn’t believe how delicious it was. The seafood on them fries along with that tangy sauce with a kick! Oh my gosh just go try it out for yourself!

Jeremy Boone This is the spot for the best swamp food in all of Louisiana. Crawfish,shrimp,stuffed crab,catfish, all of the above. They sell seasonings fresh alligator, all types of different meats cheese and drinks. I will be back next trip. Thanks for feeding this ole Texas boy while up here hunting.

Laurie Dagro My husband and I have dined at this restaurant several times. Each time we leave, we comment to each other how good the food and drinks tasted. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel special. The staff are courteous and attentive. Offering helpful suggestions for options to taste or drink. Last night we each tried a different entree and my husband tried a beer recommended by the staff. Delicious! Well worth the extra effort to drive to Amite.
