5 /5 Saskia Buelow: We’ve eaten here several times and every meal was delicious. Our favorite dishes are the stuffed grape leaves. The babaganoush is especially tasty, it has a slightly smoky flavor. The tabbouleh is really good, the falafel is great too. As vegans, we were advised very well and had a fantastic selection to choose from. We’re happy to recommend this restaurant.

4 /5 Victoria S: Honestly, it was the high rating on Google Maps that inspired us to visit this restaurant. Having traveled to many Mediterranean countries, I was expecting a familiar taste. The lentil soup was good, reminiscent of the Turkish version. Unfortunately, they didnt serve a lemon wedge with it, as expected. We ordered a lamb salad, lamb chops. The meat was perfectly cooked, soft and tender. The salad also included fresh vegetables. It was surprising that although the dishes on the menu were different, they differed only in the size of the meat pieces and the presence of puree. I have no complaints about the fresh juices at all – I highly recommend the mango and guava. As for the coffee and baklava, our expectations were also disappointed. We clarified with the waiter beforehand that Turkish coffee is espresso served with cold water. Unfortunately, there was no water, and the coffee had cardamom added, suggesting it wasnt Turkish coffee, but Lebanese coffee, or the restaurant was skimping on the water. And the baklava—unfortunately, there wasnt a drop of honey, just sugar syrup. Overall, the food in the restaurant is delicious; youll be full for the mid-range price. But dont expect whats on the menu.

5 /5 Jiane Bautista: After indulging a bit too much in rich Cajun and Creole food, my husband and I were craving a salad or anything fresh, light, and healthy. Olive was exactly what we needed. We ordered the Olive Appetizers, Chicken Kabab, and the Grilled Catfish plate with grilled vegetables, and every dish was excellent. Everything tasted clean, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. The fresh mint tea was especially soothing, and the Kullage for dessert was the perfect, gentle finish. Our waiter was warm and very attentive, which made the experience even better. Olive was a welcome reset and a spot we would happily return to.

5 /5 Clyde Greenhouse: We were warmly greeted upon entering and told we could sit wherever we liked. I ordered the combo kabob plate with chicken and beef, which also came with a fresh salad, creamy hummus, and soft pita bread. The salad had a deliciously sweet and tangy dressing, and the hummus was packed with flavor. Both the chicken and beef were perfectly seasoned and tender. Service was attentive and friendly, making for a pleasant experience on a quiet Sunday evening. I highly recommend Olive Mediterranean Restaurant for anyone craving fresh, flavorful food and great hospitality!

5 /5 Dr. Khan: We were party of six from Texas. It was our first time in New Orleans and we were craving for a good Mediterranean meal. Located Olive Restaurant in downtown and we were very satisfied! We ordered a platter for six people and grape leaves and mango juice. The platter came with Hummus and Baba Ganoush. Everything tasted amazing and freshly made. Finally the dessert- Baklava was the perfect crisp and perfect amount of sweet, not overwhelming. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Highly recommend it! Thank you to owners Rafat and Hani for providing the original taste and authentic ethnic food.
