Pappys Drive Inn - (Near Lake Arthur, LA)

Gabby Barrentine Ms. Rachel was our waitress and cocktail provider. She was so friendly. The hummus she recommended for our starter really kicked off the meal. Her drinks were delicious and refreshing. Her cucumber Gin and Tonic was a sparkling surprise that went really well with my perfectly barely seared Tuna steak with grilled pineapple and jasmine rice with a wasabi honey sauce that could have been drunk. My honey got a steak that was cooked just how we like it: RARE. YUM! NOT TOO SALTY. I hate a good piece of meat that is ruined by over salting. I loved the layout of the outside eating area with all of the flowers and the super groovy music. They had Townes Van Zandt, Merle Haggard, and Tyler Childers playing over the speakers. It is by far the best dining experience Ive had in a long time. I usually end up regretting going out and wish I had just cooked at home instead of wasting my money on restaurant food. They get a 100% approval rating for atmosphere, taste, and service! Who knew such a gem was waiting on an out of the blue Louisiana adventure!?

Deloris Wilson I received chefs kiss service starting with the hospitality of the hostess, the great 3 for me special , rewards from my phone app and the delicious meal. The hostess recommended how I could get the most for my money. As a result, I paid less than $18.00 for a generous meal with dessert, a drink and a huge bag of chips. I will return soon!

Davis Bacher They were a little short staffed so the wait was plenty long but the boiled crawfish was great. I also enjoyed the chicken tenders, fried mushrooms and fish and chips.

V Quette The gardens I must say are stunning, the most beauriful ronantic Ive ever been to. Something out of the Notebook. Loved loved everything about this place

PHrost Byte Food was consistent all the way through. I loved how all the staff was attentive to our needs. They even had all the macros for me to look at while I order my meal. Very professional. The manager was great and was working the floor with her people. I love to see it. Will be back 10/10

Linda Dianne Hall OMG. I would move here for the food and staff. Floyd Poche owner, gave us a personal tour of the back of the house and history. Clean friendly staff great food. He also sales and ships. You must stop by. Not far of I-10.
