Court Cronin Big Mike’s is the place to get BBQ in South Louisiana. Atmosphere was great when you walk in. It was our first time there and everyone was so friendly. You order at a counter and then the food is delivered to your table. The staff were very helpful when asking about items on the menu. I had the 1/2 rack ribs with mac’n cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. They ribs were tender with tons of flavor. They had the right about of sauce on them for me with a couple great sauces at the table to use. The mac’n cheese and mashed potatoes were amazing. My friend had a brisket sandwich that he really enjoyed. There is a nice bar and plenty of seating inside. There is also a large patio as well. Great place, great food and great service. Fred Jacklett Staff is very helpful and friendly. Got me what I needed. Highly recommend the chicken cracklings. I wish Id bought more for the road trip.

Gabby Mandill Blown away by the Cajun Seafood boil, Ramen and crab Rangoon! Everything was made fresh and came to the table quickly. The young lady serving us was really nice and helpful. It’s super clean and the decor is really cute! This place is such a vibe and I can’t express enough how delicious the seafood was. The ginger salad was also so good and the lettuce was fresh and crispy. 10/10 will be back!

McKensie McNeely Had a brunch date with a girlfriend here a couple weeks ago. I haven’t been to Scratch in a couple of years and I was so happy to finally see their new location. The food was incredible just like I remembered. Loved the atmosphere so much

Ryan Landry Awesome place! The food was good, the service was great and the atmosphere was great as well. We went during lunch and there were only a few other tables there. I can imagine that dinner time it would be more packed. The queso was really good. I had the American Enchiladas but felt that I should’ve asked for the onions that they topped them with on the side. Too many onions for my liking. Other than that, our waitress was awesome and did a great job.

Randall White One of the classic lunch spots in Shreveport to get Louisiana cuisine. Many local professionals frequent Jacquelyn’s; definitely a place to see and be seen for lunch. Pictured is the combo platter with jambalaya, red beans and rice, and shrimp étouffée, (served with warm buttered bread). Shrimp salad and chicken salad are simple but delicious and are also local favorites. (PS: Iced tea is the best in town!)
