Rocky & Carlos Restaurant & Bar - (Near Chalmette, LA)

4 /5 Jason McGee: A true local neighborhood restaurant. Lots of variety to choose from. There is a cafeteria style with daily specials. However, you can order off the menu. I know many who love their mac & cheese. Its unique and ok, but personally, I love creamy cheesy baked macaroni & cheese. This is not that kind. But I did like their Muffaletta despite it needing more olive oil with Its salad. The stuffed artichoke was good. The fried shrimp was good, too. My family enjoyed their food and trip here. The staff was amazing and friendly. Its worth a try with so many options and the large servings.

3 /5 Anthony G LaBella Jr: The hype over the mac and cheese is way overboard. It’s not that special. It’s not a creamy mac and cheese but more on the dry side needing gravy on it. I ordered the hamburger steak with the aforementioned. As others mentioned, the ground meat lacks flavor. It needs plenty help in the seasoning department. Though I did very much enjoy the grilled onion topping and the brown gravy that covered both. The portions are enough for more than one person. Portion size doesn’t take the place to flavor. .

5 /5 Belva Leger: Simplicity awesome food with large portions! Had the small order of macaroni and cheese, couldnt finish it with the other food! Oyster were perfectly fried! Also had the WOP salad and a fried soft shell crab! Great service and food! Glad we got there at opening because within 20 minutes there was a long line ordering and the place became packed!

5 /5 Michael Cohn: All menu items come with an excessive amount of food. Get in line to order and pay then a staff member will bring you your food. Not as busy as some other po boy places but at least as good.
