4 /5 Cindy Killgore: We have been searching for a good breakfast place since our beloved Victors in New Iberia closed its doors. We have been disappointed by the other places nearby. Today we chose to go to Saints in St Martinville and we were not disappointed this time. We were greeted as we entered by Corey , one of the owners. The decor is old school with lots of clutter and oil cloth table covers. The music was old school soul music. I asked for a recommendation. Breakfast plate was my choice included: grits, bacon, 2 over easy eggs, toast and jelly with a side of homemade hashbrowns and coffee. My husband chose a Western omelet, hashbrowns, and orange juice. The food was made to order. It came out fresh and piping hot. I have never had grits with the yolk of eggs mixed in. Now it is my favorite. Everything was delicious. Michelle checked on us regularly to be sure we had everything we needed. My only wish is that they had plates, cups, and metal utensils instead of Styrofoam. The grits were some of the best I have ever had. We will definitely return for breakfast and to try other meals. Thank you! Saints of St Martinville!
