Christopher Knipping Really nice old school cafe. Came Monday 9am no wait for 2. Our server Maddie was great. I had the seafood Louie my girl the eyes Cletus! Both were fantastic their biscuits are really good too. Had been waiting for some good creole food and this hit the spot. Unfortunately the pups had to wait in the car

Chance Herron This morning I went to this establishment for breakfast. Worst $16 i ever spent. Don’t get me wrong my food was decent but the customer service was horrible. I ordered the southern breakfast.It came with 3 strips or bacon, two eggs grits and pancakes. When receiving my breakfast the waitress said your pancakes will be up shortly. Cool! 20 miners done passed still no pancakes. Halfway through my breakfast the waitress brings at ticket, I said I never received my pancakes and my food is cold now. She went to the window and told the cook that I never received my cakes. He responded ( tell him it’s gonna be ten minutes on them. The waitress came and related the message and I told her I don’t want them now cause I been waiting on the for over 20 mines now and my food is cold. So I asked what could she do with the price because I never received my cakes the manager came out and adjusted my ticket from $16 to $14.38. Didn’t even give me the price of cakes off . She literally gave me less than $2 off. Explained to her that it’s not bout the money but damn give me a brave because I been waiting for my cakes now 30 minutes and this the best u can do. On pissed value customer

Anise Morein If you ever need a pick me up, Drive through the Burger King in Jennings and let Theresa take your order. She has the sweetest voice and immediately fixed our moods on our drive to Lafayette. She was happy efficient and seemed to really do well at her job in customer service. Great job, Theresa!

layne harriman First time here! Will return no doubt! Atmosphere Awesome! Our kinda rustic mom n pop tradition place we love to stop and eat! Great service! Server very friendly and attentive! Food so Good! Enjoyed every bite!! They serve breakfast all day next time I will def try the breakfast!! Menu has EVERYTHING!! See y’all again soon!

George I agree with the other positive reviews about the tasty food and don’t have much to add on that front. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service given that this isn’t a full service restaurant. The young woman taking orders behind the counter was very proactive about greeting us, thanking us, and checking in toward the end of our meal. She was also greeting other patrons by name, which suggests either a strong rapport with regulars or a thoughtful effort to use the names associated with phone orders. Either way, that kind of warmth goes a long way and left a lasting impression.
