5 /5 Lani Jones: We rolled into The Blind Tiger for a late lunch, and left totally blown away — not just by the food, but the entire experience. Every single thing we ordered was packed with flavor and made with real love. It’s the kind of meal you think about long after it’s over.
We started with the fried mushrooms, which were perfectly crispy and totally addictive — the kind of appetizer that disappears fast. Then came a spread that seriously delivered: red beans and rice that tasted like home cooking at its finest, hearty and well-seasoned; cornbread that was golden, moist, and just sweet enough; crispy potato wedges that were dangerously good; and crispy, flaky catfish that melted in your mouth.
We also tried two killer sandwiches — the Blind Tiger Burger (a beast in the best way — juicy, bold, unforgettable) and the French Chicken Sandwich, which somehow managed to be both indulgent and refined.
Honestly, every bite was amazing. The flavors, the portions, the quality — top notch across the board. We loved it so much we even walked out with a Blind Tiger t-shirt to remember the meal.
If you’re anywhere near, don’t miss this place. Come hungry — and maybe leave with a souvenir too.
