DRIVE-THRU BREAKFAST & LUNCH - Jena

Rating: 5 /5
proximo Locally owned and run, it shares space with the Exxon. Just drive around back for the order window or go inside the Exxon. I needed breakfast for 20 ppl, and though we took them completely by surprise, our cooked fresh order was ready in 45 minutes. (Called ahead) The biscuits were great. Soft and not too crumbly. Easy breakfast for anyone passing through!

Taqueria Speedys DF - Thibodaux

Rating: 4.6 /5
J Taco Truck right outside of Speedys. This is more authentic Mexican than Taco Bell. Just wanted to try steak tacos(carne asada), and they were excellent! Spicy verdi salsa really good as well. Nice little gem of a find when I want authetic mex food or street tacos.

J & J Seafood - Gretna

Rating: 4.6 /5
Chen D Best Crawfish Around! J & J Seafood never misses! Their crawfish are fresh, full of flavor, and seasoned just right. Perfect for a quick takeout meal when you’re craving something good. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and grab a pound or two. You won’t regret it!

Apero - Monroe

Rating: 4.9 /5
Adam & Lana - The Crains My wife and I chose Apero for our anniversary, and the entire experience was truly special and memorable. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, well-organized, and impeccably clean, setting a fantastic mood from the moment we walked in. The service was truly excellent—attentive and professional. They even gave us a lovely, signed card for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highlights from the Menu: * Drinks: We started with the "1988" cocktail and the "Lost Paradise" zero-proof drink. Both were exceptional and a perfect start to the evening. * Appetizers: We ordered the Marinated Olives (very good) and the Lump Blue Crab and Brie Dip, which was the star! It was exceptional, packed with plenty of crab, and the crostinis were perfect for dipping. * Steaks: For our main course, we both had the beef filet steaks. They were cooked to absolute perfection—tender and incredibly flavorful. The accompanying Dijon sauce was fine, but honestly, the steak was so good it stood perfectly well on its own. * Sides: The sautéed mushrooms were amazing! The hassleback potatoes were the only slight miss, as they were a touch bland. * Dessert: We were too full to eat dessert there but took the Pineapple Upside Down Cake home, and it was a delightful way to finish the meal later. Overall, Apero provided a 4.7 dining experience, perfect for celebrating a special occasion. We highly recommend it!
