The Landing Restaurant "The Loft @ 530" - (Near Natchitoches, LA)

Zach Watkins Full disclosure: this review was a 4/5 until I saw that Captain America watches you go to the bathroom. That bumps it up. I had a Burger, medium rare, with an egg sunny side up, cheese and bacon and a loaded baked potato. My wife had BBQ shrimp with a fried grits ball. The burger was very good, if messy thanks to the egg (which isnt a complaint). Baked potato was good, but even though it was hot, it didnt melt the cheese very well; some types of cheese dont melt super easy. The shrimp were a little plain, which implies most of the flavor comes from the BBQ sauce, which was good but very fishy. The fried grits were delicious. As an appetizer, we had cheese and bacon fries with sour cream and a side of ranch. While they look a little plain, they are actually delicious also; the cheese sauce was very good (it had dripped to the bottom of the fry pile). Overall a nice hybrid casual restaurant with a nice taste; the decor was tasteful, but the staff were comfortable in T-shirts and jeans. And, most importantly of all, Captain America watch you potty.

29thizzle The place had a great ambiance. I went for lunch with my son. I also had my service animal with me and it first appeared that the server would give me an issue with my service animal, but she accommodated us within seconds. I had the pesto Pollo with cut baked red potatoes. I asked for some red sauce to go with the potatoes and it was great! The food was all tasty and the waitress was very polite, professional, and respectful!

Camryn Leblanc This was our first time trying Pho & it was amazing ! We had a great server who explained how the dish is meant to be garnished & we absolutely loved it ! We had spring rolls & fried rolls with a side of crab Rangoon everything was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming & servers are as well . I recommend giving this place a try !

Morgan Rice All around amazing service, our server angel was super sweet and attentive. The food was delicious and hot, and she was very helpful in helping me order. As well as very patient and accepting of all questions I had to ask.

Walter James Great food! Swamp bread for appetizer, different yet flavorful and delicious. Would definitely try again! The burger was well seasoned and the wings were great!

J JG If you want true southern seafood and a laid back atmosphere, then you have to check out Seafood Palace. One of the many restaurant gems in Lake Charles! The Gumbo is the best I’ve ever had!
