The Plantry Cafe - (Near Baton Rouge, LA)

5 /5 Dave Roppolo: I recently visited The Plantry Cafe and it was a really pleasant experience. The cafe has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. The staff were all super friendly adding to the overall warm vibe of the place. The food was quite impressive and I am not even close to being vegan. I particularly enjoyed the Capri sandwich which included marinated artichoke, cashew mozzarella, tomato, basil, roasted red and yellow pepper pesto, grilled balsamic mushrooms. Overall, The Plantry Cafe delivers a wonderful dining experience. It’s a place I’d happily recommend to friends and visit again. It deserves a well-earned five stars for its great food, perfect atmosphere, and friendly service. Katherine, the owner, is a very lovely lady and an exceptional conversationalist who appears to have put an enormous amount of time into this place. It definitely shows.

5 /5 Mary Hannah Schexnayder: We attended Plantry for my friends birthday last minute and the owner was so hospitable and accommodating. I’m not usually a fan of vegan foods, but this is the first time I’ve eaten anything and not immediately felt bad afterwards. This was truly an incredible experience. The atmosphere is so comfortable, warm and inviting and feels like stepping into an episode of Bridgerton. I can’t wait to come back!

5 /5 Jasmin Johnson: A whimsical one-of-a-kind dining experience is the way I would describe The Plantry Cafe. I loved everything about the cafe. I love nature and trees, so to be welcomed by a tree felt dominant, yet welcoming. It was exciting! The ambiance was attractive, sophisticated,and bold. The food and drinks were delicious, and the quality of the ingredients was apparent. Dr. Crifassis passion for high-quality and healthy food options was apparent. Her expertise and dedication were admirable. I was impacted most by the story behind the restaurant. As a caring doctor who believes in holistic medicine, she decided to give people somewhere to get healthy options instead of just telling them what to do. Im thankful for this option, as it is a minority in Baton Rouge. It is truly a healthy experience that makes you happy! I look forward to visiting again!
