Mike Moroney SEP 29, 2025, I went to this restaurant after touring the Houmas House and Museum (I enjoyed both places).
The Dixie Cafe closed at 2p, so I found this restaurant. The signage on the property is not the best, the entrance of this restaurant has no sign also, just two doors with bird door handles.
The food was great. I had a Hurricane cocktail, ordered the pumpkin, crawfish, corn chowder, at waitresss suggestion. I ordered the Fried Eggplant and lump crab dish. The breads and two butter serving were all very tasty.
I had the banana cheesecake for dessert. Did not get a pic of that, phone battery died.
I highly recommend this place!
