5 /5 Brent Barrilleaux: I had lunch there 2 times now. Beef tips over rice, with green beans, smothered potatoes, and a piece of cornbread the 1st time. Baked chicken, dirty rice, green beans, cream corn, and a garlic knot the 2nd time. The food is like stopping by your moms or grandmas unannounced and they wont let you leave until you eat. The lady, (sorry I dont know her name yet) gave me a sample taste bite of her mac and cheese. It was literally, just one shell macaroni, covered in cheese sauce. It was the best mac and cheese Ive ever tasted. Honestly, the 2nd time I went back, it was to get that mac and cheese. As my luck goes, it wasnt on the menu that day. Super friendly service, the food on a scale of 1 to 10 for me was an 11. If your in the neighborhood, I highly suggest this place.

Ive been back a 3rd and a 4th time now, and still cant find anything negative about the food here. If you want authentic tasting home-cooked food, this is your place. For my 3rd lunch I had, red beans and rice, corn, green beans, and a roll. The 4th time (and my favorite so far) I got baked chicken, corn, green beans, the best mac and cheese ever, and a roll. I swear, everything Ive eaten here tastes like my mom cooked it. You dont even have to add seasoning, its just right, as is. I could eat here every day and not get tired of the menu. If you are a fan of mac and cheese, this is a must try!
