Trejos Mexican Restaurant - (Near Benton, LA)

1 /5 Aye Say: The food was already mid at best but the nostalgia kept me coming back. I was coming weekly. But when a place stops caring about their customers or being competent it’s time to not go back. Bye Trejos. I’ll drive to plain dealing before I ever eat here again.

4 /5 Mylissa K.: While I didn’t care for the waitress, reliable food and tasty. This Trejos has a weird environment/setting but would go back due to consistently being good. I would honestly have rated it 3.5 stars instead of four but that’s not an option. Quick location in Benton however the little horse ride does not work and they will not refund you. They should honestly put a sign on the machine or get rid of it.

1 /5 Jovonni Banks: I would never eat at this place! I came by last Tuesday night at about 8:30 PM. The door was locked. I could see employees inside. I knocked on the window. One employee looked right at me and walked around the corner. Another employee came in and turned the lights off. I tried to yell through the door to see what time they actually closed being it wasnt 9pm. I knocked a little harder and nobody ever came to the door. I left and walked to the sonic down the street. 5 minutes after being at the sonic, the police pulled up on me, saying that the restaurant called and told them that someone that fits my description was trying to kick the door down. Are you freaking kidding me? I should call immigration or the health department and have them make a welfare check. But Im not going to stoop to their level!

5 /5 Colby Rae Henderson: I went in this morning at 10:50 AM after attending house showings with my fiancée and grandmother it was spur of the moment and we received the best service I have received out of several restaurants in a very long time. It was hot and humid outside and cool inside. Clean. We were the only people in the place and our Server did not miss a beat. He was very friendly, courteous, respectful and nice. I never had an empty drink nor empty chips or salsa. We were given silverware right off the bat. AND THAT IS SO HARD TO FIND THESE DAYS AT RESTAURANTS. I was a server in high school and after for about 5 years and I know what it takes and again this was one of my best experiences hands down. Just the amazing service of the individual who served us today made everything else that much better! I will be back to get your name sir and I will update this again. I feel awful I don’t remember your name but we were dealing with some chaos from the home buying process we’re experiencing. I figured this was the next best way to give you and this restaurant it’s much needed appreciation. I will be back again. Highly recommended if you want some good Mexican food and GREAT service! The server I’m talking about we even had a great conversation with and He sounded like such a great young man !!
