Ann Marshall To start Ms. Miracle was delightful. It was our first time here from Ga. She was attentive and patient with me. We got our food to go and it was delicious through and through. I had to get multiple things (Liver and Gizzards, crab cakes, whole catfish and 4 sides. Very reasonably priced on all items. I know one place I can get good food and its here. Im glad the recommendation came to me. They have enough tables and chairs for you to dine in and not be all on top of others comfortably. Great place! I had the pleasure of coming back to this tasty place. This time I was determined to dine in. Again Ms. Miracle was incredibly sweet. The baby shrimp basket was seasoned perfectly and cooked golden brown. I am not a hush puppy person but they were one of the best Ive had. The sides are not seasoned with salt and pepper which is great for those who have other health problems. Unfortunately I was not able to dine in and enjoy this experience. It was cut short due to my allergies. I understand that this is an old building, however, the food is too delicious to be surrounded by mold and dust. It took all of ten minutes at the table for me to be completely overtaken by the extreme watery, puffy eyes and tingly skin. Please have someone come and check it out before it hurts someone seriously. The menu is too scrumptious to go away because no one is cleaning properly.

John N. Small establishment but big on taste and service. My wife and I went there for breakfast. I’ll admit it didn’t look like much from the outside and we were reluctant to go in. I’m so glad we did. The omelettes were magnificent and the service was impressive.

Quietly tucked away, down the street from the courthouse, is an absolutely delightful food option for foodies and customers alike. Unmarked, yet unmistakable, The Fish Market in Bastrop Louisiana is easy to find. The petite building is short and cozy in size. There are plenty of seats to accommodate the parking lot, and also have the cutest decoration around the market. Fresh & cooked fish are sold here. The young staff members were warm and helpful, taking many orders simultaneously and keeping the steady line moving. Today I purchased a children’s meal. Three pieces of fish and two sides. All in all I would definitely recommend and revisit this market. The Fish Market ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 stars
