Dee Mel Stopped at this Opelousas location for the first time after a funeral for a quick lunch before heading home out of town. Such a pleasant group of employees! We were greeted by all upon arrival. Our waitress Val was courteous, quick, & professional. Every employee told us goodbye when we left, including an off duty employee waiting outside for his ride home. Whomever is managing this location is doing a marvelous job with their staff. The restaurant was quite clean & decorated for Christmas. Will definitely stop at this location in the future!

Jim Gossen Very good family run restaurant since 1937. Old school in a very good way. They have very good crawfish bisque and the chicken and sausage gumbo is authentic and made with hens. Still family run and great food and service.

Barbara White We found this place on one of our outings. It’s great the owners are fun so are the workers! Food fantastic. I had the fried pig tails ( awesome) and boudin balls. Their smoked sausage was great I brought home some to freeze for gumbos and beans a definite regular stop for us now.

bloodthirsty. gal I ordered a ham and cheese po-boy and it was delicious, it was grilled to perfection. I love the banana peppers mixed in with the tasty sauce, lettuce tomato, and the bread was excellent. It was the best sandwich Ive eaten in Louisiana so far I was traveling for work and I definitely would stop here again. The waitress at the counter whats friendly
