Heather Kinnunen Food here was fantastic! Waitress made wonderful recommendations and gave a great overview of the restaurants history and chef who makes everything from scratch and partners with other local businesses for product. We had smoked broccoli and cheddar soup to start - fantastic. My husband had tacos (corn shells were amazing) and a burrito. I had the chicken/steak/shrimp fajitas...lets just say we had plenty of leftovers. Fajitas can be shared! As for drinks - they have a great beer selection; just wish the wine selection was a bit better! We will be returning for sure.

Matthew We were traveling Sunday from Canada and we found the restaurant around the closing time but the waitress was so kind and humble. She allowed us to placing order and also offer us free tea as it was too cold out there. The food was too good and the lady was super friendly. Michigan people definitely should try their food.

Van Kerri ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We hosted my son’s rehearsal dinner at Bierkeller on Friday, September 26, 2025, in the middle room—and it was absolutely perfect. I worked with Ashley, one of the managers, to surprise the couple with more than just a few appetizers. Together, we planned a full spread of their favorite dishes, plus a few extras. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and more than enough for our group of 20+ guests. Non-alcoholic drinks and coffee were generously provided at no extra charge, which was such a thoughtful touch. Although I had planned to arrive early to oversee everything, life had other plans—and I ended up being the last to arrive! But I needn’t have worried. Everything was already set up flawlessly. My son’s reaction said it all: “You really went overboard, didn’t you?” It was a moment I’ll never forget. A special shoutout to our server, Miranda, who was truly outstanding. She was attentive, kind, and handled our large group with grace and professionalism. Thank you, Bierkeller, for helping make this special evening such a success. Robert Most A really diverse environment, with many rooms, including an outdoor area (weather permitting) with a gas fire ring. TVs abound with every sport imaginable. We had a room reserved for a celebration of life with 50+ people and it was very well run. A great place for food, drink and much more.

Dean Boivin This has always been one of my favorite places to eat in Royal Oak. The coal fired Pizza oven is phenomenal. And they are so creative in their food and drink choices.... I always like to try their seasonal special. But the best thing for me is that they offer so many gluten-free options!!! One of our favorite appetizers is the Tikka french fries, you can make a whole meal out of just that item. You cant go wrong at this place....

L C Buddys Pizza was excellent. For starters, we had Cheese Bread and Chicken Wings. We ordered 3 different pizzas and shared. We ordered SUPER 6 MILE (wisconsin brick cheese, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, mushroom and ham), SICILIAN (wisconsin brick cheese, pepperoni, green peppers, black olives, salami, diced tomatoes, tomato basil sauce and buddys Sicilian spice blend) and HAWAIIAN (wisconsin brick cheese, ham, dice pineapples and buddys BBQ sauce). Everything was excellent. 5 Stars. Everything looked delicious and I was hungry, I forgot to get photos of the 3 pizzas. =P
