bells eccentric cafe

Bells Eccentric Cafe - Kalamazoo

Rating: 4.6 /5
Mike Bridges Cool place. Had never been inside before so I decided to check it out for lunch. I go to the Bell’s store all the time but had never been inside before the cafe. Super fast service and lots of beer choices. The Summer Peach Wheat Ale was excellent! Went to the store afterwards and bought a six pack to take home. Basic menu items like burgers, salads and tacos but it was a very good burger.
whiskey raes

Whiskey Raes - Rochester Hills

Rating: 4.2 /5
Dreaded Dinosaur An amazing bourbon and whiskey selection awaits you and it has the benefit of being a very carnivore friendly restaurant. I had the Brisket meatloaf. Tastes like something I would make! A blend of brisket and pork with peppers. They don’t load down the menu with a bunch of veggies either. Asparagus or broccoli, thats it, think of it as a pallet cleaner between bites of goodness. Worth a stop if your near the area

noor adam We got the bread service to start. The bread was nothing special, but the butter was really good. The pesto pasta and alfredo were both delicious, and the cocktail (can’t remember the name) was great too. I’d definitely recommend this place for a nice but affordable dinner, especially for the atmosphere.
pf changs

P.F. Changs - Lansing

Edis We have been to different locations of PF Chang’s in different states and they are ALL amazing! This one is super professional, relaxing, and compassionate! Our waiter Kayla was super friendly, and helpful! We appreciate you Kayla! The food was super filling and definitely worth! We did a special for 20 dollars each person and it was delicious! The patio was literally perfect, romantic and perfect weather. We love this city, it’s full of green trees and nature. The restaurant is located in a beautiful big plaza full of other amazing spots! It fits right in if you ask me! The parking is free and around the restaurant. Safe and friendly neighborhood! Thank you for the 5 star experience

Ayasofya Turkish Restaurant - Kalamazoo

Rating: 4.7 /5
Asif Rehmani Right outside Western Michigan University—perfect spot for students and parents alike. The place has a very traditional Turkish vibe, and you can tell right away from the decor and the signature orange seating. It’s not flashy or modern like some American spots, but more old-school Turkish style. Personally, I’m good with that—it adds to the authenticity—but if you’re after trendy interiors, just know this is more classic and a little on the plain side. The walls are decorated nicely, lighting is warm, and the staff are genuinely Turkish, which adds to the whole experience. Everyone here was super friendly. I tried the Ayran, which is a traditional yogurt drink. Heads-up—it’s not sweet at all. Think along the lines of a salty lassi in Indian cuisine. Definitely an acquired taste, so if you’ve never had anything like it before, maybe skip it unless you’re feeling adventurous. Also had the Turkish tea which I would definitely recommend. For food, I went with the Ayasofya Kebab—figured I had to try the namesake dish on my first visit. It’s marinated beef topped with tomato sauce, served over a bed of fries with what tasted like tahini or a mayo-based sauce. Hearty, flavorful, and definitely satisfying. Place was pretty quiet when I came by on a Sunday evening around 7 PM—just a couple of other diners, which made for a calm, relaxed meal. For dessert, I had the specialized Kataifi Baklava. definitely ask them to warm it up if you want that gooey, melty texture. This one had something described as Dubai chocolate inside, but I didn’t really get that rich chocolatey feel. Next time I’d probably go for a different baklava or just get real Dubai chocolate if that’s the craving. Overall: great place, great people, great food. Highly recommend. The young guy who served me was super nice—his English wasn’t perfect, but he really cared and made sure everything went smoothly.

HopCat - Detroit

Qandah Sal “EatThisDetroit” I had an amazing experience at Hop Cat in Detroit. We ordered a bunch of food and I loved the burgers. The shareable nachos were excellent. And the beer cheese is the best I’ve ever had. We had a couple beers that that came out crisp and cold. Great environment, and place to get together and watch a game. I will definitely be coming back here as I am hooked on their burgers. Our waitress Annie was awesome. She made sure that our drinks were full and we had everything that we needed to have a Great dining Experience
