El Corral Tacos y Guisados - (Near Pontiac, MI)

Chris Chamberlin Very upbeat place with great service. Stopped in for just a drink (had just come from dinner) and the bartender "forced us" to try the signature wings - WOW - a perfectly cooked with a sweet/spicy sauce (and not greasy). Will be back for the wings for sure AND I loved the fancy rocks glass for my whiskey.

Chelsea Markunas An Italian restaurant with great service that updates the menu with seasonal options. Fancier and more expensive than your everyday Italian restaurant but worth it. They have many classic Italian options as well as some interesting options. I tried the five pepper pasta and was blown away. If you love peppers, this is the pasta for you. Creamy, peppery pasta with fresh and pickled peppers and a giant portion of crispy chicken. The calamari was also phenomenal, crispy, tender squish with dipping sauce. Would highly recommend this for a date night. The seafood in the fruits of the sea was overcooked but that might just be bound to happen in this preparation.

Tim Kafantaris Service was great and it was the best corned beef sandwich I’ve had! I recommend the 17 1/2.

Truman Perry This diner-type deli has a great atmosphere and a mean Reuben. Sandwiches come in small (1/4lb), large (1/2lb), and huge (one pound) sizes based on the amount of meat in the sandwich. I got the large Reuben with corned beef, and it was delicious. Next time I would try the small; pretty sure it would be big enough, and I bet the ratio of meat to sauerkraut and thousand island would be better. The fries were fresh, and the pickle was huge. Definitely recommend stopping by. P.s. The bathroom is one of the cleanest/nicest I’ve seen at this tier of restaurant.

Marlyss Well thought out and creative place with many unique touches. Right from the front entrance with lots of color and a door way vestibule that has some sort of venting to help with cold entering the building. Touches in the ceiling like lots of noise absorbing panels which made it easy to chat even when the restaurant was completely full. Sky lights with some of them having a pretty flower panel in them. Lots of windows with artwork for sale in them yet room to set your purse or phone. We went for the first time in the winter but I see they have an outdoor seating area well have to try in the future. My veggie spinach omelet was unique and one of the BEST Ive ever had as were the potatoes. A step above here and fairly priced. We hadnt made a reservation and it was full so we were seated along the wall bar which was fine and lovely and had an orchid I thought was real as an added touch. But they moved us to a window table.... which was extra lovely..... when one became available that had small ceramic trees for sale decorating it. I loved viewing & learning more about the Friendship Circle Soul Studio adjacent to the restaurant while I was waiting for our food being prepared and I could hardly drag myself away from it. There was so much to absorb in one visit so well definitely be back. I love it when we try someplace new and everything about it feels right.

Whitney Sennish This is the best local pizza spot we’ve tried since we moved to Dearborn! Very high quality crust, cheese and sauce. This is one I will remember and crave in the future. It reminds me of Cameo Pizza in Sandusky, Ohio. The breadsticks were pretty good, but didn’t wow me like the pizza. Next time I’ll try the cheesy bread instead. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. This will be one of our go-to spots for sure!
