3 /5 Felicia Calvo: Came here for the first time just a bit ago. First off, we showed up at 9:30, they close at 10 and they still encouraged us to dine in. The staff were super nice and awesome. The dish I had was different from what Im used to. What I do need to point out, is that my guys liked their tacos and its so so rare that rice is cooked well. Their rice was really good. I feel one thing that would have made my combination platter way better, is if they hadnt drowned my tamale, enchilada and burrito in their sauce. Everything was super mushy soggy as a result. I think if Id gotten minimal sauce or no sauce, and instead put some salsa that came with the nacho chips on it, I would have liked it way more. Ive never had a tamale like what they served, with ground beef and beans on top. Without the greasy bland sauce I think it would have been amazing. Maybe just consider drizzling like the amount of two table spoons of sauce on a plate instead of drowning.
