Hibachi Grill and Buffet - (Near Westland, MI)

John Zadikian You would think fulfulling a craving for dine-in Chinese food on an early Sunday afternoon would be easy. Thanks to two places closer to my home being confirmed closed when their Google listing had them as open, China Bowl was the days winner, and Im glad it was. The egg rools were hot and crispy; the chicken rice soup was fresh and flavorful; and the pepper steak, General Tsos chicken, vegetables, and fried rice were on point - very tasty, but not overpowering with salt or other flavors. There were two women working their tails off in the front of the house dealing with an increasing number of dine-in customers and carry-out orders. (Bonus points to the little boy running around and passing out fortune cookies and other items. He was cute and generated a few laughs with his infectious smile.) China Bowl is clean and updated, but not overdone with decorations. The only reason Im giving four stars for atmosphere is because one table was filled with empty carry-out boxes, napkins, etc., and similar items were found on tables in another area of the dining room. Maybe thats necessary because of the size of the room, but, in my opinion, those items should be hidden from diners. Ill definitely be back - and soon!

Jeff Ordered food for takeout and it was ready very quickly. The chef can accommodate gluten-free needs. The price was great! Got two rolls and tofu hibachi for less than 30 bucks. Delicious

David Edney Theres only one burger I get when I go here. The Hatch Chili burger. ITS EXCELLENT!!!! I did get some wings on this visit. 6 bone in lemon pepper rub wings. They were okay. Had a mild sterno fuel like taste to them. Plenty of beer choices and friendly staff.

Jessica Miller Amazing!! LARGE PORTIONS! Great Hookah! This our first time in DTW and this spot. Mohamad took great care of us. Had the house flavor for the hookah. We’re not from this area and since we ended up with a delayed flight we had to stay the night. Looked up for some food and hookah and this was a great choice! We will definitely be back again. Staff were friendly and helpful, amazing menu, great hookah. Until next time Mohamad!

John Kidney This was my first visit here. I had the tomahawk pork chop, and my girlfriend had the bistro steak. The food was delicious and we finished the meal by sharing a huge piece of carrot cake. The service was great, and even the owner came around and checked on everything.

Amber Meeks First time there for me & my husband. Atmosphere was awesome and the staff was pretty cool. Unfortunately, they didnt have some of the appetizer selections that we wanted, but the food that we did order was really good, presentation and all. I would absolutely recommend this spot and we will definitely be returning at a later date.
