Kevin Donaldson Not from the area and needed food when most other places were already closed in a Saturday night. Found Savy Sliders on Google maps and it looked pretty good.... Well, looks can be deceiving, because it was AMAZING! From taking our order to bringing the food the staff was beyond polite and helpful! We had an original Savy slider, a famous fried chicken, the English cod, and a classic prime beef. The bread was fresh and delicious. The beef was juicy and not overcooked or overseasoned which was nice because the meat actually had great flavor. Toppings all worked well and were the perfect amount to taste everything together. The fried chicken was REALLY well cooked... Crispy, not too salty, and again very juicy. Cod was quite good with the tarter sauce and if you are a fish and chips fan would probably love it. Fries are crinkle cut and thick... Perfectly crisped on the outside and fluffy on the inside as well as perfectly seasoned! Aaaaaaand the custard shakes are STUPID GOOD! We tried the banana and strawberry and they were phenomenal! It took a few more minutes from order to food on the table than some fast food places, but for the flavor and freshness.... Absolutely worth a little bit of extra time.

Brie Bates Food is amazing! They have different options everyday which is a good way to switch it up! Fresh food everyday and homemade for cheap prices!! They also have great ice cream straight from Calder’s it is soo good! Brandy and Grace are so wonderful and helpful great business owners and hard workers!!

S Absolutely delicious. This restaurant has such a great atmosphere. It is casual but classy. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Attentive but not intrusive. I think I could have ordered pretty much anything on the menu it all sounded so delicious! The house made pickles are a must have and save room for dessert!

Boop We got the braised beef and cucumber salad for the appetizers then the beef and cilantro and pork and chives for the dumplings. Everything there was above and beyond expectations! The cucumber salad was crunchy, savory, and perfectly refreshing. The braised beef was tender with just the right amount of seasoning/not too salty. Now to the dumplings. We got them both pan fried (personally, I think thats the best way to go). Both types of dumplings were juicy and the wrappers had the right amount of thickness to make it slighty chewy and to hold any added sauces. Which the sauces deserve praise on their own as well. Their signature dumpling sauce was the classic tangy vinegar soy sauce mix pairs perfectly with their chili oil. Their service is fantastic. Everyone there is so kind and attentive (though Im sure it helped that we went after all the students were gone for the holidays). We for sure will be coming back again and again to try everything they have to offer!
