larry Hollinger As a native Louisiana boy, Im always skeptical when places try to recreate the New Orleans vibe and cuisine—most end up feeling touristy and miss the mark. But this spot? Not even close. The ingredients taste like they were flown in straight from the Big Easy, and you can feel generations of soul in every bite. We had the Étouffée, Jambalaya, and Gumbo Yaya—all absolutely delicious. And hey, I didn’t have to cook them myself, so that’s always a win. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere genuinely made me feel like I’d been teleported home. If youre looking to experience Louisiana without the long drive, I highly recommend this place. My only minor critique: the Étouffée sauce had a touch too much flour, which made it slightly grainy, and the rice was a bit overcooked. But those are small things when the flavors are this on point.

Alicia First time eating Buddys. Got a 4 square pizza and it was delicious! Love the crunchy crust and the buttery flavor!!! Will definitely be back!

Natalie A Great food and service. Nice outdoor seating. Steak and lobster was cooked perfectly. The sauce with the calamari was an interesting twist and delicious. I don’t even like beets but the beet chop salad was very good, super fresh and the fried onions added a nice crunch. I had the berry 75 and the pear mule. Pear mule was delicious! Would definitely come back again.

Mr3dPHD Really cool brewery in downtown Royal Oak with a full service restaurant menu. Beer was quite good, and I really enjoyed the food. Its late November, and they had a pretty legit Santa walking around talking to the kids which was a lot of fun!

B L Amazing food and even better service! The buffet is excellent, and the to-go meals are clean, fresh, and tasty. The owner and staff make you feel right at home. I visit here often and it never disappoints!
