Royal Oak Roast - (Near Royal Oak, MI)

Neal Bakshi How this place got 4.4 stars is beyond me. The food is delicious (although a tad pricy), the service is highly attentive and top notch, and the atmosphere is nice and clean. We went on a Wednesday night and it was not that busy. The decor is nice and the bathrooms are clean. The small plates all look so good, but we went with the brussel sprouts and feta which we would absolutely order again. The former better than the latter in my opinion. The salmon entree was perfect and has we only ordered these 3 dishes, we would’ve been completely satiated. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs however and we got the vegan paella as well, which we mostly ended up taking home. This place is a great spot for a date night, night out with friends, or other upscale but not too fancy dinner. Great food and truly stand out service.

Jeffrey Frick I have been hearing great things about this bar and they are all true. It is always great to find a bar burger that is well made and served with a great drink. I grabbed a porker burger because I cant pass up pulled pork on a thick beef patty and bacon. This was a full on 3 napkin experience. I also had the poutine fries and a Moscow mule to finish the meal everything was exceptional. The atmosphere is great located downtown flint. Im so happy to have found a new lunch spot

Chelcie Bennett Spectacular little spot we found ! Fantastic food while we watched the lions game ! We all had the best food and service ! Our waitress was on top of everything and super nice ! Definitely will be back !

justin This place is awesome. Came here for the variety of vegan options we saw on the menu and we weren’t disappointed. It was a busy Saturday night, with a basketball game nearby and a show happening at the pyramid scheme, so we had to wait like a half an hour for a table. No big deal, there’s pinball and NBA jam and other arcade games around, go enjoy yourself and wait for the text! We got our table and were taken aback by the great prices per portions of food. All of the wing sauces are vegan and you have two ways to enjoy them, we went with the “poor man” option which are like big potato wedges covered in sauce. We got the crunch wrap and the vegan chicken sandwich and holy shit both were delicious and very… dense. Like seriously it was a ton of food. The NA beer they had was something i had never seen in my life, some lager but it was absolutely delicious? And my fiancé’s cocktail - the HATERADE - was awesome and a great deal at $10. Service was perfect, they were on top of everything and the vibe here just rules. This is a place you can’t miss out on.

Ana Super good food! The truffle fries are the best fries I’ve event had! The pastas are a hit or miss. The pizza is delicious!! Ravioli too is pretty good! We always order the cheese plate and it’s always soo good! So worth trying! Lunch o. The weekends are usually not so crowded but dinner you should always make a reservation!

Armin Shakry Been coming to this place for over 6 years now. Always consistent with us and my family loves it. They do a lot of carry-out so inside is not always busy. Which is fine. The place is clean and the owners kid does a great job running the place (Dahria) I think is her name and always very friendly. We will be back...Thank you again!!!!
