The Butchers Grille - Dearborn - (Near Dearborn, MI)

Mateo Gebon Terra made for a nice, more upscale dinner for a friend and me. They have some creative, Italian style dishes and lots of nice drinks to choose from. I went with a cocktail I can’t name in polite company, and it was delicious. It stuck me as something somewhat like a tiki-style drink in a rocks glass. I had the corn risotto and my friend tried the casarecce pasta. We both thought the food was superb. The corn risotto wasn’t too heavy, and it had tons of fresh corn flavor. The scallion ash was a surprisingly good topping. The decor was modern and the staff was helpful without being overbearing. This would be a great spot for a nice night out or just a pleasant meal with friends or family.

Zophael Ray Every time I come here, I leave very full and happy. The Brasserie Burger is a favorite, as well as their pot de crème, but my absolute must-have every time is the clam chowder. I always get a pint to take home with me for later. The restaurant itself accurately portrays a tavern atmosphere. If you’re in Royal Oak, definitely give it a try.

Mrs. B The food is good. I liked this place until I noticed something different on my bill. They have started adding their own tips to your bill. It should be gratuity, not tips. Then send you a bill with the tip field open as well. The chefs have been great and entertaining, and I love the atmosphere, but they have definitely lacked presentation in the drink department. No embellishments or trimming aŕound drinks is horrible to me. Place a lemon, lime, orange, or cherry like before. It took a long time to receive the bill, and we were ready to go. I definitely dont like that, but I will update you when it gets better.

Tim Smith The atmosphere is like a sports bar. The food was good, the only thing was the pizza crust was a little dough, but was good. The doublestack burger, boss hog sandwich and fish and chips were all good. Multiple tvs for multiple games. The whiskey selection seems like a good amount and quality. The service was good. Would eat here again. Nice place for a sports bar.

Jake Choate Verona is truly something special. I would put this place against the best of the best and I am not exaggerating. Since childhood I have traveled extensively and eaten at countless restaurants, and I also spent years running kitchens, working as a GM, and even working as a regional manager in the industry. Verona stands out as one of the finest I have ever experienced. Executive Chef Salvatore Borgia is a master of his craft. Every dish is executed with passion and precision, and you can taste the dedication in every bite. The restaurant itself is beautiful and spotless, the food is top notch, and the service is consistently excellent. General Manager Megan Leopoldo deserves her own recognition. She is kind, attentive, and always present to ensure the front of house runs seamlessly. Together, she and Chef Salvatore are a dynamic duo that set Verona apart. The staff reflects her leadership, being friendly, efficient, well mannered, and completely on top of their game. The menu is unique, featuring items you will not find many other places in the area, and prices are very reasonable for the quality. Verona manages to be both classy and casual at the same time, making it perfect for anything from a quick lunch to a wedding reception. With its gorgeous, modern hotel setting, it may actually be the ideal place to host an event and stay the night. If I could give this place ten stars, I would. Verona has earned my respect and my loyalty, and I recommend it to absolutely everyone. Also great for kids, it’s my daughters favorite. -Jacob Choate

DanSarah Bruinsma Amazing food! We visited today after living here over a decade ago and the food is still consistently delicious. Service is quick and I couldn’t recommend more! Try the shrimp summer rolls, crab Rangoon, and pictured: pan fried noodles, birds nest style.
