North End Taproom - Royal Oak

Kathryn I liked the variety of beers, they had several options of each type of beer, it was not all IPAs. The atmosphere was really inviting, open high ceilings, but not sterile. They had one N/A beer, a soda, and another N/A option. When youre done, you can just walk out, no waiting for a server or cashier line, I loved that. We stopped in quickly before a movie and didnt have to waste time waiting, we got to drink right away, we got to drink up until we left, we werent late for our movie. But I could also see it being a good place to hang for a few hours, they have games and food too.

Wendy R First time here. Had the chicken piccata with artichokes over spaghetti. Very good and a generous portion. Came with a good sized side salad and a really good buttered roll. Very friendly staff. I’ll be back to try the chicken nachos and the French toast.

Birdsall Mary (Growl) For great food, great service, and great atmosphere do try Corey’s Lounge. This place has been around for years. I have been here for a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day dinner many of times and absolutely love their corn beef that is served.

Libby Wedesky My husband and I came here for a late Valentine’s Day date (dumb school snow days, lol) and when we got there, I noticed it was very clean and organized. We were greeted and placed our order at the counter, we ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich, with fries, sambousek, rice pilaf with almonds, and secret off menu item, beef hummus with pita loaves. It was all very good. Served in take out containers and brought to our table on a tray with disposable utensils and napkins. The off menu beef hummus was AMAZING! We learned of it from a Detroit Eats Instagram Influencer, well worth it! Comes with seasoned beef/almond mixture on top of hummus. Everything had good flavor. The fries are skinny and have very good flavor as well, yummmm we will be back!

Maggie M. This was my first time ordering from here and boy am I glad I did. We have been looking for a place that served great Chinese food for years and finally found one in Yun Village. The portions were very generous and the taste was excellent! I had the Chicken, Pea Pod & Mushroom dish and my friend had the Almond Boneless Chicken with a Crab Rangoon appetizer. We both felt it was the most perfectly cooked & best tasting Chinese food weve ever had. It is a carry-out place only, but the food is well packed & stayed warm for my 20 min ride back to the house.
