5 /5 RAVEN BRADFORD: Fatima was absolutely amazing! She was so kind and welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and made some fantastic entree recommendations. I came with my parents and we ordered the short rib hash, mushroom French omelette, Belgian waffle, chicken sausage, and Biscoff lattes every single dish was flawless. The flavors were immaculate. The owner even stopped by our table to introduce herself, which made the experience feel extra special. She was just as kind and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back both with friends and for a full TikTok review!

5 /5 Tammy G.: This was the most random and unexpectedly delightful find! My daughter and I were looking to a spot to eat, this was the only place at the time that didn’t have a crazy wait! But I assure you it won’t be long before they do because everything was spectacular! Lots of variety for breakfast and brunch and everything is made with an international flare, so each bit was rich, decadent and packed with intriguing flavors. And it’s all Halal so I was able to have turkey breakfast meats, which is my love language! The atmosphere and decor is also very lovely; fun wallpaper designs, tile flooring and accents throughout and lots of natural light due to the picture windows all around that keep you cozy as you watch world on Michigan Ave pass by. Highly recommend!

5 /5 Jaafar Aljeraiw: Amazing experience at The Great Commoner. Our server Mohamed was very nice and helpful. The food came out relatively fast and it tasted amazing. We got the Short Rib Hash and the Sausage Hash along with a Turmeric Ginger Tea. Make sure you reserve in advance as well

4 /5 Tanyu Dortch: My first time here. I didnt like how close the black seating were. No privacy at all. I ordered blueberry pancakes. They bought me 3 hugh pancakes for 19.00. I thought that was ridiculous. They could have given regular size pancakes, bacon and eggs for that price. The experience was nice but overpriced. They had a bakery area their pastries looked good but again overpriced.
