The Old Goat Tavern - (Near Kalamazoo, MI)

J Finney Had dinner last night and it was excellent. First the bread and pickles which were all fresh and salads came with plenty of homemade dressing. Main course with two sides order was chicken schnitzel and brisket with gravy, green beans, and kougle. The service and food was outstanding. Great atmosphere too. We really enjoyed the whole experience. Great job Stage Deli. I actually worked in the kitchen as a dishwasher back in high school when they first opened. My first job. Nostalgic place for me.

Justin Sandborg Place was packed when we walked in on Saturday evening. We debating on staying but they had to be busy for a reason so we decided to try it. We are glad that we stayed because we had never been here before and it was awesome! Drinks and food came very fast considering how busy the place was. I thought we would be waiting forever but the whole staff was working hard. You didn’t see anyone playing on their phones or giggling in the corner. As soon as a table left there was 3-4 employees around the table to clean it off. Looked like some large parties were in the front area. They had the football games on and the manager came to check on us. He even refilled our waters without asking. Our server was Charlee and she had the whole bar section. She was fantastic and kept up with everything. We will definitely be back

Sarah Fairthorne Best chicken shawarma pita sandwich I have EVER had. Soooo good. And their grape leaves are so big, and equally as delicious.

Patrick Davidson I’ve never written a restaurant review before. I felt compelled to today after my fourth time eating at Joe Kool’s in Novi. While entering the establishment, I saw a well dressed man wiping the windows down near the entrance. My wife used the restroom and came back and her first comment was,”I can’t believe how immaculately clean the restroom is”and she complimented the manager Joe, Same guy that was wiping the windows down when we walked in.Joe stopped by during our meal and thanked us for the compliment, and you could just tell he puts his heart and soul into that restaurant. The food was very fresh and well prepared just like the previous times we visited. . The staff is very friendly also. My compliments to the very well run establishment!

Gannon Rioux This was easily the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had, hands down. Kimmy helped us all night and seemed to be there every time we needed something. The drinks came out so fast and Kimmy remembered everything, without error. I would recommend dining at Big E’s to anyone and would especially if can get kimmy as your server!

Anne Lux Was in this past Friday for a birthday celebration with a group of 10-12. Staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. Food was excellent - about half of the group ordered their favorite pizzas while the others tried the newer menu items (burgers & brown butter pasta). If you had to pick only one item, get the nachos. Wild amount of food, but so good and perfect shareable. The bar also has a great selection of beer and unique mixed drinks. Ive been coming here for years and its a great spot for a date, friend gathering, or quick after work drink. I had called to make sure it was okay to bring a cake (yes, but they couldnt provide fridge space) and our waitress came through with the save because I flaked on a cake knife. Appreciate the Zoobies team being so accommodating and friendly -- and celebrating with us!
