The Peoples Kitchen - (Near Lansing, MI)

Mickey Cook I am from out of state so I have never been to this place. Dylan and Dave were super friendly and hugely helpful to someone who had no knowledge of the menu. They even helped us get the app set up so we could get a discount on our order :) The restaurant was clean and comfortable and the wings were bomb diggity! I got the Apple Chipotle dry rub and the Snobby Q flavors. I am a wing snob and I was very happy with my meal. Fries were really good, like everything was perfect. And getchoo some pretzel bites too. Mmmmm....

Neal Bakshi How this place got 4.4 stars is beyond me. The food is delicious (although a tad pricy), the service is highly attentive and top notch, and the atmosphere is nice and clean. We went on a Wednesday night and it was not that busy. The decor is nice and the bathrooms are clean. The small plates all look so good, but we went with the brussel sprouts and feta which we would absolutely order again. The former better than the latter in my opinion. The salmon entree was perfect and has we only ordered these 3 dishes, we would’ve been completely satiated. Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs however and we got the vegan paella as well, which we mostly ended up taking home. This place is a great spot for a date night, night out with friends, or other upscale but not too fancy dinner. Great food and truly stand out service.

Eric Basner Everything about our visit was perfect. The service was amazing from start to finish—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The playlist set a great vibe, and the food came out very quickly. We ordered the Pollo a la Parmesana, the Pollo a la Brasa, and the Maduros, and every single dish was packed with unbelievable flavor. The side of Frijoles Negros was stewed to perfection—authentic, rich, and seasoned with the perfect amount of spice. Culantro nails it on every level: quality, authenticity, speed, and overall experience. Highly recommend!

Brian Dudek My wife and I loved Kruse and Muer. The food was awesome and the service was excellent. This is a small restaurant, which was part of the great atmosphere. We will be coming back when we are in the area.

Huss This corner spot is a fantastic place to enjoy some African food! The interior design is beautiful, and the view of the streets from inside is amazing. We had the Chicken and Lamb dish, both of which were delicious. I also loved the coconut and mango dessert. I’ll definitely be back!

Kathryn Goettsch Amy consistently does a fabulous job-she is so friendly and efficient. Our smash burgers were delicious-grilled to perfection. The sides were fresh and delicious, too.
