Livonia Coney Island - Livonia

Rating: 4.4 /5
Sara Steinbrink You all gotta come check out this new lil spot in Livonia! Located in the plaza behind the Dollar General and BP on Schoolcraft and Inkster Road. You wont be disappointed! My husband and I have been here SEVERAL times the last few weeks; from breakfast, lunch, dinner, and to-go orders, everything has been on point! Best Gyro meat I have EVER HAD! We have hated that for so long that the only coney over here was Leos, but we are now glad to support another small business. During times like these, independently owned businesses need our support more than ever, so go show them some support!

CUGINOZ - Shelby Township

Emily DeYonker I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while after driving past it so many times, and I’m glad we finally did. Do yourself a favor and stop in—this is a superb Italian beef. The jus is rich, perfectly salty, and clearly made right. Salute!

BARDA - Detroit

Rating: 4.6 /5
Cindy W. BARDA absolutely lived up to the hype. When we arrived, the restaurant was very busy, so reservations are definitely a must. We were running about 18 minutes late for ours (I did call ahead), and the host was incredibly gracious and still seated us, which we really appreciated. The porterhouse steak was cooked to exactly medium rare and packed with flavor. Did not care that much for the beef short ribs (not tender enough and very fatty) but the cauliflower was soooooo delicious! It really helped balance the fattiness of the steak and rib. The drinks were beautifully crafted, and every single one was excellent. Service was seamless from start to finish — our server timed the courses perfectly and checked in just enough to make us feel well taken care of without ever feeling rushed or interrupted. We shared a flan for dessert, and it was so good we ended up taking two more home with us. Overall, a fabulous dining experience from food to service. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

Deccan Bawarchi Indian Cuisine - Farmington Hills - Farmington Hills

Rating: 4.8 /5
Love Animation Stories I heard mixed things about this place, so I walked in with low expectations for my first meal out in 2026. I walked out completely impressed. The Food: The buffet spread was impressive, catering extensively to both vegetarians and those looking for Halal non-vegetarian options. Sunday Specials: The Sufiyani Biryani and Chicken 65 were flavorful, and the Mutton Haleem was an absolute treat. Appetizers: The Pani Puri was refreshing and the perfect way to start the meal (and great for digestion!). Desserts: This was the highlight. The dessert station was amazing, featuring Gulab Jamun, Mango Dessert, Kaddu ki Kheer, and Rabdi. Each one was delicious. Beyond the food, the place is spotless and the vibe is very family-friendly. I also want to thank Ayesha for her professionalism; she took great care of our table. Service Note: Ask for Ayesha if you can—she was professional, helpful, and made us feel right at home. 10/10, I will definitely be back.
