J. Alexanders Restaurant - West Bloomfield Township

Rating: 4 /5
Toni Montana had such a wonderful experience at J. Alexander’s! From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Every single especially ally the waiter! we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and professional — they made sure our drinks stayed full, our food came out perfectly, and that we had everything we needed without even having to ask. The manager also stopped by our table to check in and personally make sure we were enjoying our meal, which really made us feel valued and appreciated. It’s rare to see a team work so well together to create a seamless dining experience, and they truly nailed it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was absolutely top-notch. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending J. Alexander’s to friends and family!

Cafe Zinc - Midland

Lacey Lathrop This was our first time at Cafe Zinc. The atmosphere was very nice/upscale but still cozy. The food was absolutely delicious. Their Gluten Free toast was the best I’ve had at a restaurant! Our server, “Lu”, was very knowledgeable and very friendly! He informed us that we are able to order a loaf of their GF bread for pick up, a couple days in advance. Which is great to know! Our food took a bit longer than expected but it was a busy morning. It was well worth the wait. We will definitely be recommending this restaurant and returning in the future to try other items on their menu!

Erin Woolford 10/10 experience. We had 4 adults and 4 children (ages 1-12) for an early dinner. Meg C was the best waitress - she turned a to go soup container into a kids cup, made amazing food and drink recommendations, and stayed patient throughout the kids’ questions. The Phoquari is one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had (even as a non whisky lover). Go with a group to get bites of everything. We loved the carrots, brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, crab salad sliders, crab gnocchi, scallops, and filet. The kids demolished the chips and chicken sandwiches. Highly recommend.

Larry Gaynor One fact about J’s: Always consistent and menu items mostly the same for past 20 years yields really good food served hot and fresh. Service is always impeccable. Good portions large and sides over the top. Best veggie burger and ahi tuna entree would be double the price anywhere else. Make room for dessert! Warm carrot cake with cream cheese frosting is decadent as is the warm pudding chocolate cake. Yum! French press coffee, strong and hot. Overall, excellent for both lunch and dinner. Make reservations in advance.

La Bistecca Italian Grille - Plymouth

Amit Patankar 5 Stars – Exceptional Experience at La Bistecca Italian Grille La Bistecca is a true gem. The ambiance is warm and inviting, the service flawless — Donna took amazing care of us, and owner Jerry’s passion for guest satisfaction really shines through. The arancini was the best we’ve ever had, cocktails were on point, and the main courses were absolutely delicious. Every detail was thoughtfully executed. A true labor of love — can’t wait to come back!

Redwood Steakhouse and Brewery - Flint

Christopher Martinez I ordered a cheeseburger with mushrooms and onions. Also a cup of steak chili. Burger cooked medium well was big and greasy with homemade chips. Steak chili was mostly ground beef with one small square of steak, it was a good chili. Wife ate fish and chips with the parmesan fries, the fries i could taste cooked in same grease as fish, which didnt bother wife. She ate all her meal. Beautiful place. I feel the prices were expensive. 25 to 45 dollars for one steak dinner is out of my reach, that is 50 to 90 bucks for me and wife without a beverage of any sorts without adding tax free tip to waitress. I left full, that is never a loss in my opinion. It is also a many many awards winning brewery for many years for multiple ales. I did not try any. Im sorry, im a cheapskate.
