White Horse Tavern - (Near Flint, MI)

4 /5 Joe Colon: My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here after it was recommended by the B&B we were patronizing. Reservations are not required, but we made them just to ensure a seat. They do recommend calling 24 hour ahead for reservations. We had a couple of drinks (pretty good), but no appetizer due to a late lunch. I had the ribeye, which was slightly overcooked, and a baked potato (yummy). My wife had the salmon, which she loved. She also ordered carrot cake to go and to be enjoyed at a later date. A note on the decor - there is a lot to appreciate with the stallion wall murals and the tree art on the floor. They also have patio seating, which we did not partake.

4 /5 Nick DeClerg: The White Horse is a great local hangout in downtown Flint. The food is good and filling. Its a great place to go and watch a game as there are televisions all over. However, if youre looking specifically for quiet, I dont recommend it unless you are going late when there is less of a crowd there to enjoy the sports. As far as I know, there is no private room. Anyone else know? Otherwise, its perfect for those who are looking for that sports bar atmosphere and some of your favorite comfort foods.

5 /5 Bryan Monaco: Fantastic bar! Great atmosphere and service. Its very old school in here. Definitely a good place to have a beer and watch some football. The food is pretty good too. Youre definitely going to want to order the chicken pot pie soup.

5 /5 Mickey Vaughn: Ive been here several times now. Im never disappointed. This last time, it was a Thursday, I think. Had a large pizza and a pitcher off brew for like 20 bucks. Im definitely going to get back for that deal again. The atmosphere is great. This place has been around a long time from what Ive learned. The folks there take great care of the place and my family and me at every visit.

2 /5 Brett Kovel: Went to dinner tonight to use a gift card that I received back in June. When it came time to pay the bill, they told us that they were under new ownership for the last year and they couldn’t honor the gift card. Which is odd because the gift card wasn’t a year old. Said they had no way of verifying how much was on the gift card because of a new computer system, which really isn’t my problem. Waitress and bartender were less than helpful and could not have cared less.
