Alayna Clouse Such an amazing experience!! My friends and I all went and really enjoyed it :)) I got the fettuccine Alfredo(1), super creamy and good. Another friend got gnocchi with bolognese sauce and herb chicken(2), he rated 7/10 but finished his plate the fastest out of all of us. Picture (3) was a Sunday gravy with spaghetti noodles and brisket, happy noises were made the entire time my friend was eating this dish!! My other friend got the filet(4) and she loved how tasty it was. We also ordered cheese bread I didn’t get a picture of but it was the BEST cheese bread I’ve ever had in my life. Our server was so kind, I forgot her name unfortunately but the service in general was great. Also the ambience of the place was very delightful. Very highly recommend this place if I’m in Detroit again soon and want Italian I’m coming back 100%

Edward Hegemann First time coming here, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. It is a bit on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it for the quality and overall experience. Our waitress, Sheila was outstanding. We came with a group of nine, and she managed everything effortlessly. She was attentive without being intrusive, quick to follow up on anything we needed, and genuinely pleasant from start to finish. Her service alone made the evening feel special. The atmosphere was truly one of a kind. Spanish Christmas music played softly in the background the entire time, creating a warm and festive vibe. Combined with the beautiful Christmas lights decorating the restaurant, it made the whole place feel magical and inviting. We’ll definitely be returning the next time we’re in town. Highly recommended!

Zophael Ray Every time I come here, I leave very full and happy. The Brasserie Burger is a favorite, as well as their pot de crème, but my absolute must-have every time is the clam chowder. I always get a pint to take home with me for later. The restaurant itself accurately portrays a tavern atmosphere. If you’re in Royal Oak, definitely give it a try.

Karen Such a cute diner. Mostly counter seats with two small tables that seat 4 each. Not a big menu but they have items you won’t see anywhere else. If I see chilaquiles on the menu I always order them since I have been searching for the best in the Detroit area. Well today I found them. Home made chips, eggs cooked perfectly yummy thinly sliced radishes and jalapeños. The BEST CHILAQUILES IN THE AREA. Looking forward to trying the grilled cinnamon roll which seemed to be a favorite for a lot of customers. Breakfast dishes come with Texas toast and cilantro potato’s that made me want to order another meal before I left. A lot of carry outs were being made by the kitchen which seemed to have a very organized method for arranging the pick ups. Don’t let the size of the 24 hour diner scare you off. The food is exceptional and the employees clearly love their jobs. Lunch for two was $22.00 amazing for the quality of food

Lindsay Gottschalk It’s been on my holiday bucket list to check out “Jingle” at Ale Mary’s! The themed menu and decor definitely illuminates the ultimate festive atmosphere! They are definitely busy on the weekends so be prepared to wait. We ended up finding a seat at the bar where we received friendly service and our food arrived promptly and hot! I greatly enjoyed my chicken and waffles, the chicken was freshly battered and the waffles were perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My guy enjoyed his chorizo hash but said it is VERY spicy so if you are appeased by spice, that is your thing! The playfully named holiday cocktails are served in a variety of fun glasses and we tried the “You’ll shoot your eye out” which was fruity and refreshing!

M. C. Tom and the Jim Brady’s team have always created and served amazing food for years. My wife and I, however, ate there last night for my birthday and Jim Brady’s new chef has elevated the food to a new level. Exquisite food, great service, superb cocktails; and the new chef possesses a mastery of sauces - the au poivre and the mushroom Marsala are superb! Try the steak au poivre (flatiron steak) with house made frites (fries) with brandy-peppercorn sauce, and the chicken and wild mushroom Marsala!

Mena K It’s a charming small place but with lots of character and delicious food including gluten free pita sandwiches which is very rare. The ability to customize with as many fresh toppings makes it even more appealing to your taste buds. It’s a gem of a place especially for those who have gluten allergies. Be aware that when you dine in, you cannot get free tap water from their drink fountain, you have to purchase a $4 bottle of water.

Andy Chan My wife and I love the sour dough pizzas at Bigalora! Normally we go to the Plymouth location, but we were in the area already. Same great quality and service. Highly recommended.
