Lalitta Ardhan We were a party of three celebrating a birthday and shared the Snow crab legs, Baked whole red snapper, and the seafood broil. Everything was fresh, delicious and the portions were generous. The complimentary bread for the table was a variety of cornbread, toasted garlic bread and a seeded round loaf with a wedge of cheese and a side of pickled veggies. All entrees came with a salad, side of yellow rice, corn on the cob and your choice of another side. Sammy’s met all our expectations. At the end they came out with some ice cream and sang her happy birthday. So nice!

Robert Lawton Weve been teice and both times were great. On a Thursday night it was pretty busy, but there was still plenty of seating without being on top of anyone. Sunday night was a lot slower, if you want it quieter. There is a separate vegetarian and vegan section. The spinach enchiladas are delicious. You get homemade, warm chips with your meal. I would have liked the salsa to be a little chunkier, but it had a great cilantro taste without being too spicy. Our fried bowls were a little over-fried, almost burnt. My wife didnt think so, though. The bowl does need rice, even a scoop on the side would be perfect. The guacamole was fresh and delicious. I cant believe it took us so long to find this place, but its a great location if youre going to the beach or CMAC. Highly recommended.

Brittany Kiernan Gerard was absolutely phenomenal! It was my mom’s first time ever having a seafood boil and we were also celebrating her birthday. From the moment we sat down, he was incredibly informative, patient, and attentive—taking the time to explain everything and making sure she felt confident and excited about her first experience. He truly went above and beyond to make her birthday so special. Exceptional service, amazing energy, and such a memorable experience thanks to Gerard. He is an outstanding server and a true asset to the restaurant!

Jacky Lam Tara Kitchen is one of the best restaurants in Troy! The Moroccan food is bursting with flavor—every dish feels authentic, fresh, and made with care. The tagines are a highlight, cooked to perfection with rich spices. On top of that, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is always warm and attentive. A must-visit spot if you’re looking for something unique and delicious!

Katie Batilla Kaiyo has become our new sushi spot. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Also the hot food is spot on, the tempura and teriyaki is fantastic. The atmosphere is perfect for a peaceful and quiet meal. The staff is always so friendly and polite. My family and I highly recommend Kaiyo for delicious sushi and Japanese cuisine.

Christina Gómez This restaurant was a delight. Full of locals, the vibe was cozy and welcoming. The staff were kind and helpful - I am vegan, and while there is nothing listed on the menu, our waitress and the kitchen staff took care to offer a vegan dish, comprised of gluten free pasta (all other pastas contain egg), veggies, garlic, and olive oil. Simple but absolutely delicious. In fact, I knew it was going to be good based solely on the complimentary breadsticks, and the order of bruschetta that we enjoyed. Yes, its carb-heavy. But everything was so good, fresh, and clearly scratch-made. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi, which he noted was also delicious and authentic. The negronis we drank were perfect as well.
