Amylos Taverna - (Near Astoria, NY)

Ingrid Eide First time dining at this beautiful restaurant, and wow—what an experience! We came in for a team lunch meeting and were blown away from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was outstanding. The staff was incredibly attentive, refilling our water glasses the moment they were empty and making sure we had everything we needed. We started with baked clams, braised short rib empanadas, and French onion soup—each one better than the last. Our main dishes (Steak Salad, Steak Burger, Penne alla Vodka with Chicken, and the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad) were all superb. Every plate was a hit! A fantastic experience all around. Can’t wait to come back!

Jennifer Yang Visited with my girlfriends for a girls night out. Beautiful interior, great atmosphere and friendly service. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The interior was cozy, the atmosphere was lively yet intimate, making it a great spot for catching up over delicious food.

Eliahu O We reserved the Loft for Moms special Birthday, the atmosphere was great and the wait staff were excellent accommodating our large party of guests,unfortunately due to budgetary constraints, I didnt sample the many interesting items on the menu,this being a high end Kosher restaurant, however the chicken dish I ordered was excellent, and the ambiance was like going to Manhattan,unbelievable a place like this is in Boro Park,kudos to all the wait staff,thank you for making Moms special Birthday a night to remember.

Yon Burke Very inviting and cozy place. Great whiskey bar and rustic atmosphere. Food was quite diverse with a mixture of American, Korean, and Italian items. French onion soup was delicious. We had the pork belly buns appetizer which was fantastic. Very festive and with happy patrons.

Lisa Koenig Yum!! I forgot how much I like this place! I took two friends from out of town and they said it’s the best place I’ve ever taken them! My friend and I started with a specialty cocktail which was a spritz featuring apples. It was perfect! We each ended up having two!! My favorite dish is the short rib Pappardelle, which I always get!! But two of the night’s specials were a tempura mushroom appetizer and an entree with rabbit. We got both and LOVED both!! My friend got the Ricotta Gnocchi and they were pillowy light!!! One of the best parts of the night was our waitress!! She was so knowledgeable about each dish and did a wonderful job explaining them. I sorta forgot about this place, but will definitely not make that mistake again!!!

Amandip Kaur I came here for my birthday brunch with friends and had the best experience ! Staff was very kind and service was excellent. All the dishes were very tasty and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and very good quality (they use seasonal produce from their farm). I took the biscuit & poached eggs and French toast: each dish was flavorful and well balanced. They also had freshly squeezed orange juice so 10 / 10 for me. Thank you for the hospitality; will be back for dinner soon :)
